Chapter 271 Started Her Performance
Just as Amelia felt a warm sense of relief, they got home.
Back at the house, Amelia made sure to remind Benjamin to be quiet.
“Don’t wake Nina,” she whispered. “If we wake her, she’ll make a fuss.”
Benjamin whispered, “Okay.”
The two entered the bedroom very quietly.
Inside, the room was dark, and Nina wasn’t there.

Just as Amelia was about to let Benjamin check William’s room, Benjamin walked straight to Daniel’s room.
He pushed the door open.
The moment the door opened, Benjamin saw Nina sitting in front of the TV, eating potato chips while watching cartoons.
There were a few empty snack bags in front of her.
Behind her, Daniel and Erik were lying passed out on the carpet.
An hour earlier, Daniel and Erik had finally remembered they were supposed to put Nina to bed.
But Nina was hard to fall asleep.
After trying for a long time and running out of ideas, Daniel and Erik finally saw Nina pretend to close her eyes.
Seeing this, the two guys thought she was asleep.
They put her on the bed and went back to talking on the floor until they dozed off.
Once they were asleep, Nina climbed down by herself.
Nina knew how to turn on the TV.
She switched it on, pressed some buttons with her chubby fingers until a cartoon came on, and was now having fun watching TV and eating snacks.
When Benjamin opened the door, Nina, holding the chip bag, turned to look.

Chapter 271 Started Her Performance
“Daddy,” she called out crisply.
Finished
After that, before Benjamin could even step forward, Nina blinked her big eyes and started her performance, reciting all the words she’d been learning all night.
“Should die! Jerk. Holy shit. Motherfer.” She performed her entire new vocabulary for
Benjamin, then giggled.
After laughing, she started repeating it all again.
Amelia, who had followed Benjamin, heard these new words and felt dizzy.
“Nina, where did you learn those words?” Amelia asked, her voice strained.
Seeing Amelia’s reaction, Nina became even more enthusiastic about reciting them.
Amelia held back the urge to scream. She quickly composed herself and decided to completely ignore Nina’s new words.
She walked over, turned off the TV, and then picked Nina up from the floor.
“Nina, it’s time for bed. You have school tomorrow,” she said, introducing a new topic.
Hearing the word “school,” Nina frowned and said, “Mommy, Nina sleep home.”
