Chapter 305 Snatching the Phone
Suddenly left alone, William and Nina stared at each other, baffled.
Nina asked, “Grandpa, go where?”
William said, “Hmm, they’re probably busy. Don’t worry about them. Let’s play by ourselves.”

He said this to comfort Nina, but he understood the real reason. She had heard Nina cough and was afraid her grandson might catch it, so she kept her distance.
William understood completely.
Whenever he took Nina out to play and heard another child cough, he would also walk away without hesitation.
It was only human nature.
Nina played by herself in the small square for a little while before growing bored.
She wanted someone to play with. “Grandpa, where Nelson?”
“He’s at school. Lucien and Barry are at school too,” William replied.
Nelson, Lucien, and Barry were all in school, so William couldn’t just call them over.
Seeing that the boys weren’t available, Nina thought for a moment and asked, “Find Grandma?”
Nina had returned just yesterday and gone straight to the hospital.
She hadn’t visited Wilson Villa yet.
“Nina, we’ll go after you’re better,” William said. “In a few days, your grandma will be hosting a banquet.”
Amelia had been recognized by the Wilson family, who were already discussing with her changing her surname and planning a banquet.
Amelia had agreed.
The Wilson family took it very seriously and had even consulted the calendar for an auspicious date.
The chosen date was coming up soon.
Unable to play with anyone, Nina grew upset, her chubby little face falling into a scowl.
Seeing her distress, William immediately called Danielver to keep her company.
After all, Daniel had a strong immune system. He wasn’t afraid of catching anything and loved playing with Nina.
Daniel was more than happy to take on the babysitting b.
He came over, picked Nina up, and called Erik to go play go-karts.
Erik knew Nina was sick but didn’t mind, so he immediately took her into his arms.

This time, Erik hadn’t been drinking. There was no stubble from days of not shaving.
He had showered and put on clean clothes, looking qui presentable.
Nina, ever the judge of appearances, accepted him in an instant.
“Me sick,” she announced.
“I know. That’s why I’m here to play with you,” Erik said, nuzzling her cheek before settling her into a go-
kart.
