Chapter 334 The Safety Lesson
“Nelson, Nina hit!”
Nina picked up swearing and fighting way too fast.
Nelson didn’t want her picking up that stuff, so he took her away to get some snacks instead.
The scene was a complete mess. Several families had goten dragged into the fight.
Chloe held the sobbing Fiona, comforting her nonstop.
Fiona had never imagined her engagement would turn into something like this.
She cried as she threw herself into Chloe’s arms, heartbroken.
“Why did he lie to me?
“Why did he treat me like this?
“Did I do something wrong, Chloe? How could he do this to me?”
Fiona cried her eyes out. She had really fallen hard for Helix.
Chloe held her tightly and could only do her best to comfort her.
“Fiona, you didn’t do anything wrong. This is all Felix’s fault.
“He’s the one who’s terrible. He’s despicable. You’re wonderful.”
The drama between the grown-ups was way over the kids’ heads.

Nina, who had been lured away with food by Nelson, was no longer clenching her little fists. Instead, her chubby hands clutched a sweet pastry.
She ate bite after bite, clearly enjoying herself.
Several kids stayed together, eating and drinking happily.
Not far away, Brian watched them quietly, his gaze dark and menacing.
Brian didn’t come over to do anything to Nina.
Felix’s engagement had been completely ruined today. Brian knew Felix would be furious.
He would seethe with anger at the two little “culprits” who had caught him with Mia.
This time, the Hawn family’s finances were going to collapse.
When he was absolutely livid, Felix could easily do something stupid on impulse.
As for Brian himself, he had always been the cautious offe.
He never put himself in harm’s way-he only brought harm to others.
Years ago, before he was even an adult, he had pulled it off once before.

That time, Chloe had lost Wesley.
Now, he thought, Chloe was about to lose something again.

But that was fine. Even if Chloe lost a lover and a small, precious family member, it didn’t matter. She still had him.
He would always love and protect Chloe.
Time dragged on in the chaos.
On this day out, Nina didn’t get a single decent meal.
She stuffed her tummy with pastries instead.
With the adults in such a mess, the banquet was definitely over.
And even if it didn’t, no guest would have had the appetite to eat.
Nina was taken home by Benjamin and Daniel.
Finished
When Amelia fed her in the past and really couldn’t get another bite in, she would say, “Forget it, I won’t feed you anymore.”
Nina had remembered “forget it.”
Now she kept repeating it, making a whole bunch of grown-ups burst out laughing. Even Benjamin raised an eyebrow, amused.
Benjamin didn’t continue feeding her.
Daniel chuckled, kissed her twice, and lifted her out of the high chair.
“Alright, alright, no more eating. Go play.”
Daniel sent Nina off to play. Nina took off running on her tiny legs without a second thought.
No one knew what she did all day. It was like there was a motor stuffed inside her small body. Other than when she was asleep, she never sat still.
The Graham family had many staff members. Even when Nina ran off, there was always someone following her around to keep an eye on her. Even so, she still occasionally tripped and fell.
If she fell and no one saw her, she didn’t cry.
If someone saw her fall, she would burst into tears.
The people following her had already caught onto her little trick.
With the nanny keeping up behind her, Nina ran when she wanted and played when she wanted, living her best little life.
In the blink of an eye, the two-day break was over. Then Monday came-it was Nina’s day for daycare.
She moped around miserably, not wanting to go back to daycare at all.
