Ms. Escape: Marrying to Run, Fighting to Rise
Chapter 95 Main Bedroom Drama
Adriana took a deep breath, about to say something, but Harold had already hung up.
Finished
She remembered the first time they met at the dinner–Harold’s initial impression of her had been quite good. But now…
Prejudice in people’s hearts is hard to change, no matter how much I explain myself.
In Harold’s eyes, I’ve solidified my image as a gold–digger, a kept woman willing to do anything for money.
Sighing, Adriana looked at Eva. “Let her in.”
Eva looked back at her with sympathy. I really think Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln are a perfect match, but Mr. Harold doesn’t approve …
Mr. Lincoln is also very devoted to family. In the future… the chance of them being together seems very slim.
The door opened, and Nicole walked in, dragging her suitcase, scowling. “Adriana, what’s your deal? Do you really think this is your house? Why wouldn’t you open the door for me? This is Curtis’s home. I’m the future lady of this house.”
Nicole looked down at Adriana, pushing her suitcase toward Eva. “Set up the main bedroom. I’m staying there.”
Eva froze. “Ms. Barton … you should stay in the guest room on the first floor. The main bedroom is for Mrs. Lincoln-”
Before Eva could finish, Nicole slapped her across the face.
It was deliberate–Nicole’s arrogance was meant to intimidate Adriana
Both Adriana and Eva were stunned.
Nicole snorted coldly. “Watch your tone when you talk to me. I’m Curtis’s future wife. She’s just a tramp who sells herself for money.”
Eva covered her face, standing there humiliated.
“Apologize to Eva,” Adriana said angrily, glaring at Nicole.
Really? This is the Bartons‘ long–lost daughter? Who spends years struggling on their own and still acts this entitled?
“Apologize to her?” Nicole laughed.
Slap! Adriana Stepped forward and hit Nicole across the face. “Fine, if you won’t apologize, I’ll slap you back
for Eva.”
Nicole stared at Adriana in shock. Clutching her face, she tried to strike back in a frenzy, but Eva quickly
held her.
Adriana seized the moment and delivered another slap to the defenseless Nicole.

Nicole went mad. “Adriana, you’re insane! How dare you hit me! I’m calling Harold!”
Then she turned to Eva. “And you! I’m getting Harold to fire you!”
Eva was worried but still stayed close, shielding Adriana.
“Just you wait,” Nicole shouted, raising her hand again, but Eva blocked her.
She stormed to the door, fuming. “You just wait.”
Then she started making calls.
“I’m carrying Curtis’s baby. It’s the Lincolns‘ bloodline. Harold values it above you. If you dare touch me and something happens to the baby, do you think Harold will side with you?” Adriana said, frowning.
Nicole laughed. “Stop pretending! I know you’re faking your pregnancy. You didn’t even go to the hospital for a check.”
“What if I really am pregnant?” Adriana asked coldly.
Nicole frowned, clearly worried now.
It’s true… Harold cares a lot about the Lincolns bloodline.
That’s why Danielle advised me to get involved with Curtis quickly and ensure I have his child.
Grinding her teeth, Nicole huffed and stubbornly headed upstairs. “I don’t care whether you’re pregnant. I must sleep in the main bedroom.”
“That’s Mrs. Lincoln’s…” Eva said angrily, but Adriana stopped her with a shake of her head.
“Set it up for her. Let her stay. We’ll deal with it when Curtis gets back,‘ Adriana said.
Eva sighed, resigned, and went upstairs to prepare the main bedroom for Nicole.
Adriana couldn’t stand seeing Nicole’s face at home, so she went out to meet Yolanda.
Yolanda was the flight attendant on the plane who spoke four languages.
Today, she was dressed casually. Tall and striking, she had a cool, androgynous beauty–definitely a head-
turner.
“Hey, Adriana,” Yolanda said, handing her a coffee she had bought in advance.
“Thank you,” Adriana said, a little embarrassed, but Yolanda was naturally outgoing.
