Nicole froze, then turned her anger toward Adriana. “Bitch, did you tell on me?”

Adriana felt guilty–it was true, she had.

She ignored Nicole and Danielle, heading back to the living room.

“Adriana, you’d better call Curtis and tell him you forgive me,” Danielle said, frowning.

Her eyes were filled with bitter resentment and anger.

She hadn’t expected Curtis to go so far, targeting her and Chandler’s company for Adriana’s sake.

“I’ve already compensated for your loss. Over six million should cover your injury, right? It’s just a head wound–you can barely see it now,” Danielle said sarcastically.

Before Curtis moved against Chandler’s company, Danielle had tried to make excuses, thinking Curtis didn’t love Adriana and was just using her to break off the marriage deal with the Bartons.
