My Alpha Let Me Raise His Bastard—Did He Forget I’m Royal novel Chapter 7

Chapter 7

Draven grabbed the phone and tore back to Lilith’s place like he’d lost his mind. Kicked the door open. Lilith was feeding Mortis fruit.

“Draven? What’s wrong?” Lilith looked at him all worried. “You look awful.”

Draven didn’t answer. He rushed over and grabbed her throat.

“Talk! What the hell are these messages?” His eyes were bloodshot. “Why did you torture Elysia like this?”

Mortis started bawling.

Lilith clawed at his hands. “Draven… are you insane… I don’t know what you’re talking about…”

“Still lying?” Draven shoved the phone screen in her face. “You sent these sick messages!”

Lilith saw the screen. Her face went white.

“I was just… joking around… I didn’t think she’d take it seriously…”

Draven’s grip tightened. “You said my son dying was a good thing. That’s a joke to you?”

Lilith was choking. She slapped at his hand frantically. “I was wrong… I’m so sorry…”

Draven let go. She crumpled to the floor. Coughing hard.

“And these photos…” Draven’s voice was pure rage. “When’d you take them?”

“I… I just wanted something to remember…” Lilith was shaking.

Draven laughed. Cold and bitter. “My son just died and you’re taking photos of us in bed to send to my Luna?”

Lilith knew she was trapped. Started begging like crazy.

“Draven, I really love you… I was just so jealous of her…”

“But about Silvain, I swear I didn’t—”

“Thalorin!” Draven shouted.

Beta Thalorin rushed in. “Alpha?”

A faint gold light flickered in Draven’s eyes—remnants of his Alpha bloodline, weak but still there.

“Find the rogues who were in that forest. Now. I want the truth!”

Lilith shivered in the corner. Tried to stop him. Draven knocked her hand away.

Thalorin was fast. Came back an hour later.

“It… it was Lilith…” Thalorin barely got the words out. “The rogues confessed. Miss Lilith paid them to wait in the restricted zone and… tear Silvain apart…”

“What?” Draven stared at Lilith in shock.

“She said… she said if the young master had an ‘accident,’ Mortis would be the only heir…” Thalorin kept going.

“They said when Silvain’s arm got torn off… he was crying for his daddy…”

Draven turned to Lilith. The fury in his eyes could’ve burned her alive.

“You killed my son!”

“Draven, let me explain…” Lilith crawled backward. “I didn’t think it’d turn out like that…”

Draven completely snapped. “That was my son!”

Draven grabbed a chair and smashed it down on Lilith’s leg.

Crack.

“Now it’s your turn.”

He grabbed Lilith by the hair. Dragged her up. Ignored her screaming.

“Help! Somebody help me!” Lilith screamed. But nobody dared stop the Alpha.

Draven dragged her to the pack dungeon. Where traitors got executed. Walls lined with torture tools.

“Recognize these?” Draven pointed at the tools on the wall. “I’ve used them on plenty of traitors. Never thought I’d use them on you.”

Lilith looked at the terrifying instruments. Shaking all over.

“Draven… we used to love each other… please, for what we had…”

Draven took down a barbed whip. “You killed my son. You tortured my Luna. You destroyed everything I had.”

The whip cracked through the air.

No mercy in Draven’s eyes.

“Now you pay.”

“No… Draven… I was wrong… I know I was wrong…”

But Draven was done listening.

He raised the whip high.

“This is for Silvain,” he said coldly.

Lilith’s screams echoed through the dungeon.
