“What did she look like when she went to the airport?” Lucas asked.

Katherine’s face stayed calm as she asked back, “Is he sick? What does Ivy have to do with

me?”

“Mr. Grant said you know exactly what she has to do with you.”

“Mr. Grant also said that if you leave, he will take Ivy back to the Grants.”

Katherine didn’t know if this was Lucas testing her.
