She stood right by the microphone, and her loud voice reached everyone in the hall.

The murmuring grew louder.

Lucas watched calmly, but his face darkened.

“Sorry I’m late!” Orion finally arrived.

Chloe’s expression changed. She glanced at Katherine, who still looked calm, and couldn’t believe Katherine had really brought Orion here

How is that possible?

Orion wore a traditional-style robe. His hair was gray, yet he still looked energetic.

Katherine gave a small, respectful nod. “Mr. Johnson, thank you.”

“Mr. Johnson,” Chloe said, “please examine this hourglass-shaped vase and tell everyone if it’s genuine.”

Orion was famous in the appraisal world. Seeing him there, the crowd grew excited and

After a careful inspection, Orion looked at Chloe. “Who said this vase was real?”

“I think you should go study more before working in antiques.”

Chloe’s smile widened. “Ms. Cath, did you hear that? Mr. Johnson told you to go study.”

“I’m talking about you,” Orion said, looking at Chloe.

Chloe froze. “Me?”

“Who else?”

Her face changed. “Mr. Johnson, you must be mistaken. I’m the one who said the vase is authentic.”

“But this hourglass-shaped vase is only a replica. It isn’t genuine.”

The crowd erupted.

Chloe’s pupils shrank. “That’s impossible.”

“Are you questioning me?” Orion asked.

Chloe lowered her head. Orion was too respected for her to challenge.

But how could this be?

A replica that no one else noticed was seen through by Cath alone.
