Chapter 375
I feel Robin’s soft growl in our mind link. He’s listening to my thoughts about him.
‘I like that dress,‘ he purrs. ‘I like that it shows off your baby bump. I like seeing my pup growing in your belly.‘
I swipe my hand over my stomach, tucking my dress more tightly over my stomach so that my baby bump shows more.
‘Perfect,‘ he says, coming over and leaning down to kiss me. Because we’re with our friends and they are very much like us, he deepens the kiss and I don’t pull away, giving him everything that he’s asking for.
He growls as he stands. “I’ll see you soon.”
“Yes, you will.”
I can see that Kayce has said a similar goodbye to Allison, whereas Letti and Jake are still more reserved in their public display of
affection.
We watch as our mates walk away, Robin already pointing out different parts of the pack.
“Okay, now that they’re gone. I’ll say it. I’m terrified!” Letti says.
Allison and I spend the next hour helping to alleviate Letti’s fears and reinforcing that we’re here for her if she needs anything at all.

Chapter 375
Robin
I’ve never spent time with Jake, but I like him immediately. As I begin walking him around the pack lands, Reese comes jogging up.
“Alpha Jake,” he says, smiling. “Looking for a rematch?”
Jake laughs. “Anytime, Beta. But I expect you’ll be winning your own pack before long.” he says.
“No doubt,” I confirm.
Reese falls into step with us as we walk around. “Have you been back to your pack lands yet.” I ask Jake.
“Not yet. I’m anxious to return though.”
“I’d suggest being careful if it’s just you and Letti. We spotted Koden before we left for the competition and Camden on the way back. If you go, don’t go alone. I’m sure you’re anxious to start your new life, but you need to keep yourself and your mate safe,” I tell him.
“I’m happy to loan you some warriors,” Kayce tells him.
“I am as well, and I’m sure the others would too. You’d just have to feed them, which presents its own problems,” I say, laughing.
“Tell me about Owen’s pack members,” he says as we walk around. “Who am I potentially inheriting?”
“Most of them are warriors, but from my perspective, they’re not well trained. They are doing well with the structure that I have of training twice a day and some of the warriors have gotten stronger quickly But

you’ll need to decide how much training you will be offering your pack,” I say.
“Ezra trains twice a day as well. I was planning to keep it that way.
“Talk to us about your plans for a start–up, Jake. You don’t have any money. How are you going to get the supplies you need to get things settled?” Kayce asks him. I’m guessing, like me, he’s prepared to offer him a loan. Although, I need to consider that every new Alpha is going to be in the same position.
I’ll talk to Nikki about it. I bet she’ll have some ideas. I thought makes me smile. I’m positive my mate will have an opinion.
“Alpha Ezra has offered me a loan to get started. I intend to let the pack know that things will be tough at first, but we’ll build together and become stronger because of it. I’ll use the money for food and to make sure that everyone has sufficient living spaces. Then, once the pack is built, those who want to work outside the pack can do so and again, I plan to do what Ezra taught me which is take a small percentage of that money for pack expenses.”
“That sounds like an excellent start,” Kayde says. “If you start to struggle, reach out. Speaking for myself, I can help out. r

“It’s an important thought though.” I say, voicing my concern that all of our new Alphas are going to struggle. The ones who have the pack lands that have been vacant the longest, like Joshua and Elias‘ packs will have the most to recover from. And by the time we get to it, Zahn‘ s pack may also be a wasteland.
