My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 397

He seemed to have misunderstood something crucial.

The correct course of action was to suppress the scandal first, then go after Sandra.

Why was he in such a hurry to find her?

Hannah couldn't figure it out, and she no longer wanted to.

She texted Tess back.

[Hannah]: Don't follow him anymore. You'll get bad luck on you. Come back, my love.

[Tess]: Your love also spotted Quennel there. The two of them are arguing about something. Lionel looks furious.

Hannah opened the image. Just as Tess had described, the two brothers seemed to be in a heated argument. Lionel’s face was so dark it looked like it was about to storm.

Hannah’s gaze shifted to Quennel, her eyes narrowing slightly.

Maybe it really was Quennel who had taken care of the trending topics. Besides him, Hannah couldn't think of anyone else who would help her like that.

Tess didn't linger and left shortly after.

That afternoon, after finishing up some work, Hannah went to meet her.

"Oh, honey, you've had it so rough these past few days. How did you end up trending again? That bitch Sandra, causing trouble even after she's skipped town. How can one person be so vile!"

"I know, right?" Hannah agreed. "I thought we were finally at the point where we could get the divorce finalized, and then I completely forgot about that one crucial detail. I've handled divorce cases before, how could I have been so stupid?"

The mere mention of it made Hannah's heart sink.

If only she had remembered back then, they would have been divorced by now. At that point, Lionel had still been willing to go through with it.

But now, the odds were slim.

The feeling was surreal.

When he arrived at the factory, everyone was there, including Quennel.

The moment Quennel saw him, he started in with the taunts and jibes, mocking him for being so helpless he needed his mother to clean up his messes.

If it weren't for everyone else being there, the two would have gotten into a massive fight.

He had just taken over the factory, and there was a mountain of work. Lionel was busy until late into the evening, finally getting everything sorted.

Without even stopping for dinner, he immediately grabbed his phone and sent a message to Hannah.

Hannah, Tess, and Samuel had just arrived at the restaurant.

As they were about to start eating, Hannah received a message from Lionel.

Her brow furrowed as she read the contents.
