My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 521

She was curled into a ball in the back seat, her brow furrowed in a deep, unconscious state.

The fresh air and distant sounds felt surreal to her.

During her captivity, she had lived in constant fear, sometimes too afraid to sleep, terrified that if she closed her eyes, she would never wake up.

She only ever slept when she was utterly exhausted.

Catching a glimpse of Sandra's sleeping form in the rearview mirror, Lionel decided to tell Hannah about her immediately.

Even though she had blocked him, he could send someone to the Temple family estate to inform her.

First, Lionel called his personal doctor, telling him to get to his house right away to treat Sandra.

Then he made another call to his assistant, instructing him to go to the Temple estate at once.

-

The Temple Estate.

Hannah was leisurely enjoying a delicious afternoon tea with Samuel.

The housekeeper announced that Lionel had sent someone over with an important message for her.

Samuel frowned slightly. "Hannah, are you going to see them?"

That man just wouldn't listen. She had told him repeatedly not to come to the house, that she didn't want to see him.

But it was like he was deaf. No matter what she said, he ignored it, always droning on with his own excuses and doing whatever he pleased.

It was infuriating just thinking about it.

"Did he say what's so important?" Hannah asked.

The housekeeper shook her head. "I asked, but he said he can only tell you in person. He did mention it's about Sandra, and that it's extremely important."

A moment later, the man walked in.

"Ma'am, Mr. Rosenberg said that he has found where Ms. Woods was being held and has already rescued her. He would like you to return home to hear what Ms. Woods has been through."

"Rescued her? Well, that's good news. But I'm busy. If he wants me to listen to their fairy tale, he can bring Sandra here to the Temple estate."

The man froze, looking at Hannah in disbelief.

"Ms. Woods... she's covered in injuries. She probably needs to rest and can't move."

Hannah lazily lifted her eyelids. "Have you seen her yourself?"

The man thought for a moment and shook his head. "No, Mr. Rosenberg just told me to come and inform you."

"Well, there you have it," Hannah said with a smirk. "If she's that gravely ill, what's the point of me going over there and disturbing her rest? And if she's not that ill, she can come here herself. Why on earth should I be the one to go to them? The audacity!"
