My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 555

Hearing him say that, Hannah had a moment of realization.

"That is what they say online, and there have been real cases like that…"

Hannah thought it over. She was a lawyer, yet she had made such a mess of things.

After a moment of reflection, she came to a conclusion.

"Because I was blinded by love."

As the words left her mouth, Hannah almost couldn't stop herself from laughing out loud.

It was true. She had been a complete fool for love, an undeniable fact. And it was precisely because of that that she'd ended up in this situation. She had no one to blame but herself.

After considering her answer, Samuel nodded in agreement.

"I've met a lot of people in my life, but you're the first person I've met who was so completely love-struck. You know how people on the internet joke about their friends being fools for love? They share your story, and suddenly their friends see the light and snap out of it."

They had discussed this before, but Samuel brought it up again today.

Hannah wasn't offended; in fact, she felt a little pleased.

"Well, that's a good thing. A cautionary tale. If it helps more people understand that you have to love yourself first in a relationship, then it's worth it. Otherwise, they might end up like me."

She was lucky she had found her biological family, and that they were in a good position and could help her fight back.

The moment she saw Lionel, Sandra erupted in anger.

"You dragged me there and made me look like a fool! You have no shame, but my reputation is ruined! I dare not use my phone anymore. Every time I go online, I feel like the whole world is cursing my name!"

Lionel was done coddling her. He shot back angrily.

"Your reputation is ruined because of your own actions! If you hadn't caused such a scene online in the first place, would things have blown up like this? All of our reputations are ruined because of you, and you still have the nerve to blame me?"

Sandra instinctively wanted to argue, but she realized belatedly that he was right. She had ruined everyone's reputation.

But she didn't care. She scoffed loudly. "So what? I did what you asked. Now you have to keep your end of the bargain. Arrange for me to go abroad. Right now, immediately. Do you hear me?"
