Sandra had caused so much trouble, and now she could just walk away without facing any consequences or punishment. That was far too lenient!
Besides, there was no guarantee that letting Sandra go would make Hannah forgive him.
At this moment, Lionel was caught in an endless loop, feeling that no matter what he did, it would be wrong, and he couldn't find a solution.
He was completely at a loss for what to do next.
As he went downstairs, a bold idea suddenly surfaced in his mind.
He felt conflicted, but perhaps this was a viable option. He just wasn't sure if that person would actually help him.
After all, the man despised him and would probably never betray Hannah to side with him.
But if he didn't ask for his help, he didn't know who else to turn to.
Maybe he should calm down and think it over. There might be a better way.

The next day, when Samuel woke up, there was a new message on his phone.
He glanced at it, put the phone down, then sat up and picked it up again.
He read the message carefully, over and over again.
For a moment, he thought his eyes were playing tricks on him.
Samuel tapped on the number from the message and dialed it.
"I'll say it again, I didn't send the message to the wrong person. I'm serious. I need to ask you for something. I hope we can meet and talk in detail, and I also hope you won't mention this to Hannah. Once we meet, you'll understand what I want to talk about."
After saying this, the man on the other end hung up.
Samuel sat on his bed, stunned for a few seconds. Then he threw back the covers, got out of bed, paced around it a couple of times, and picked up his phone again.
"Crazy. Truly crazy. I've never met anyone so insane. Since you're this crazy, I definitely have to go see it for myself. I want to see just how far gone you are."
After some thought, Samuel decided not to tell Hannah about it for now.
He changed his clothes, grabbed a pen from the drawer, stuck it in his pocket, and went downstairs.
"You don't have work this early in the morning, why are you so dressed up? Where are you off to? Don't tell me you have a girlfriend?"
