My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 594

Without a second thought, Cherry flatly rejected his absurd demand.

“You just promised me! You said you’d tell Hannah if I told you! Why are you going back on your word now? Are people from the Temple family all so untrustworthy?”

Lionel couldn’t believe how badly this was going.

She had already agreed, so why the sudden reversal?

“Don’t you dare try to guilt-trip me with the Temple family name. The reason I’m not telling Hannah is simple: there’s nothing worth telling. What you did is completely insane.”

Cherry took a deep breath and pinched the bridge of her nose, staring at him in disbelief.

“Breaking up with my mistress and kicking her out of the house… isn’t that what I’m supposed to do?”

After hearing his words, Cherry fell silent for several seconds, wondering if she had misheard him.

It was truly mind-boggling. Breaking ties with the other woman, no longer living with her, and locking her up—the way he said it, you’d think he’d made some monumental contribution to society.

He spoke as if he had made a huge, painful sacrifice. But any normal person caught cheating, especially after a scandal like this, would have cut ties long ago.

Yet here he was, not only bringing his mistress into his own home but also collaborating with her on a plan to win back his wife. What on earth was going on inside his head?

At that moment, Cherry felt a wave of regret. She never should have offered to get involved in this mess.

It was because this man was truly unhinged, and they were exhausted from dealing with him. They just didn’t want to do it anymore!

So they pawned him off on her, and she, in her ignorance, thought she was scoring an easy win that would earn her major points.

Even if they paid her a million dollars to deal with this, it wouldn’t be enough to cover the emotional damage!

Cherry placed a hand over her heart and let out a long sigh. “I genuinely feel sorry for my cousin now. She spent three years with a psycho like you and somehow didn't end up in an asylum herself. I feel like I’m about to have a mental breakdown just from talking to you!”

Cherry gestured to the servants to open the door at once.

“Now get the hell out of here, immediately! And you are never to come back, do you understand? This is my house, not a mental hospital. If you need a doctor, go to a hospital, not my house. You lot, get him out of here! And if he ever shows up again, he is not to be let in!”
