My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 678

When she got home, the nurse sent the audio file she had recorded to Cherry.

Instead of listening to it alone, Cherry called Hannah and Samuel into the study so they could all hear it together.

The three of them sat in silence, listening intently to the voice coming from the recorder.

No one spoke until the recording ended. Then, they all burst out laughing.

“Oh my god! Sandra is ruthless. She’s willing to throw her own parents under the bus. I’ve never seen someone so heartless and ungrateful.”

Cherry was the first to speak.

“Her parents weren't great, but they weren't terrible to her. And now she's planning to pin all her past sins on them, to make it seem like she only became this way because of a bad upbringing. Funny how her brother didn't become a homewrecker, only she did.”

Cherry thought she had seen all kinds of people, but Sandra was a first.

“Exactly! People like her are terrifying. First, she uses Lionel, and now she’s going to use her parents. She's a complete parasite!”

Samuel couldn't help but add his own astonished comment. “To Sandra, everyone is just a tool to be used. The moment they lose their value, she tosses them into the fire.”

“It's a good thing we have this evidence. When she pulls this stunt, what do you think we should do? Release the recording?”

It was definitely feasible.

As soon as the words were out of her mouth, an even bolder idea struck Cherry. Her eyes lit up as she looked at Hannah excitedly.

“After I get her confession, I’ll go straight to Lionel. I’ll tell him everything and get some more resources from him as a reward. Then we can just sit back and watch them tear each other apart. The thought of it is thrilling! I’m a genius. I’m amazing.”

Cherry had almost forgotten about her ongoing collaboration with Lionel. She could get the scoop from Sandra and then run and tattle to him.

Once Lionel knew Sandra and her mother were plotting to squeeze him for money, he would surely refuse to pay any compensation.
