My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 787

He took a deep breath, exhaled slowly, and stared directly at Hannah.

"Hannah, I wanted to ask you, did you deliberately choose today to come to the family estate and tell me about the divorce proceedings?"

"You knew the elders favor Quennel, you knew that servant was just a scapegoat, and you knew I was going to the estate today to demand an explanation from them. And you chose this exact moment to show up."

"And all those paparazzi at the gate—they were never there before. Did you arrange for them to be here?"

After hearing Lionel's accusations, Hannah's expression remained perfectly still. Cherry, on the other hand, was visibly stunned, her face a mask of disbelief as she stared at Lionel.

Even Samuel wore the same shocked expression.

"Open the gate," Hannah commanded coldly, her eyes fixed on Quennel.

Though Cherry didn't know why Hannah wanted the gate opened, she immediately motioned for the butler to do so.

Lionel assumed Hannah had heard him and felt it was inappropriate to answer in front of the paparazzi, so she was letting him in.

The gate slowly swung open. Seeing enough of a gap, Lionel took a step forward to walk inside, but Hannah shoved him back out.

"Hannah?"

"Smack—"

A crisp slap echoed through the air before anyone could react.

"And finally, why did I go to the family estate? Was it because of some psychic connection we share, or did I have you investigated?"

Hannah crossed her arms and scoffed. "It’s because I called your housekeeper beforehand and learned you had gone to the estate. That's why I went there!"

"Could you please do me a favor, Lionel, and stop being so narcissistic? I stopped loving you a long time ago. Don't act as if I'm constantly watching your every move. Your brain is for thinking, not just for decoration."

Cherry finally lost her composure and burst out laughing.

"Hahahaha, Lionel, please, could you be any more ridiculous? Do you really think Hannah is constantly thinking about you, spying on your life, able to sense your every move, so she just had a premonition you were at the estate and rushed right over? Hahahaha!"

Cherry was laughing so hard she had to bend over, slapping her thigh repeatedly.
