Although they were not talking face to face, Faye could imagine Colin's expression when he asked this question.

He must look cautious and tentative now.

Colin replied, "The ring is in the drawer of my office. I planned to give it to you after we have sex by the floor-to-ceiling window..."

Cindy replied with a smile, "Yeah! After all, the baby will absorb nutrition from you."

Faye stared at the milk for a few seconds and then nodded, "I see."

After drinking the milk, she drove to the company.

She had been busy with the press conference of the boy band for the past two days, so her other work had all been delayed.

Entering the office, Faye picked up a document and opened it. When she was about to read it, Galen knocked on the door and walked in.

Faye raised his eyes and asked, "What's up?"

Galen said, "Ms. Nash, the insider you asked me to contact agreed, but the price is a bit high."

Faye raised her eyebrows and said, "Do you mean Ralph's affair?"

Galen nodded.

Faye clasped her hands together on the desk and asked, "How much money does he want?"

Galen didn't dare to say the number directly, so she raised her hand embarrassedly and stretched out two fingers.

Faye asked lightly, "Two hundred thousand dollars?"

Galen swallowed hard and said, "Two million dollars."

Hearing this, Faye smiled lightly, "Two million dollars?"

Galen first asked an IT expert to check them. After making sure they were not fake, she sent them to Faye by email.

After Faye had a look at them, she transferred five hundred thousand dollars to the insider, picked up the phone, and dialed Fanny's number.

After a few seconds, the call was answered.

Before Faye could speak, Rex said in an excited voice on the other end of the phone, "Ms. Nash, Fanny is working now. Can I leave a message for you?"

Faye said in a cold voice, "Ralph cheated on her, and I have the evidence. Ask Fanny if she wants to break up with him now or later."

Then, she paused for a while and added, "I suggest she should break up with him right away."

Rex said, "I understand what you mean, Ms. Nash. Don't worry, after she finishes the current work, I will persuade her."

Faye nodded, "OK."

Faye's impression of Rex was neither bad nor good, so she didn't intend to talk much with him. After simply telling him about the current situation, she hung up the phone.

Then, she picked up a document from the desk and began to read it.

At noon, Galen knocked on the door, pushed it open a crack, probed her head in, and asked Faye if she wanted to have lunch together.

When Faye was about to answer, her phone on the table vibrated.

She lowered her eyes and saw Colin's message pop up on the screen of her phone which said, "Honey, come to my office for lunch."
