What else would seasoning be used for? Of course it goes into food,”

daric said it as if it were the most natural thing in the world. After speaking, he smiled at Corvin. “I still have some chili peppers. I’ll ring you those instead.”
t was an exotic plant. Alaric had heard Emma referring to it as chili, so he did the same.
fter all, many of these plants didn’t even have names. They could call them whatever they wanted.
Alright, then.”
Corvir was easygoing. “Bring me a bit more of the chili peppers. I’ll grind them into powder and keep it in the kitchen so everyone an use it easily.”
Alaric took out a large bag of chili peppers from his storage band.
I’ll do it with you,” he said. After all, he had used up all the chili powder earlier. It didn’t feel right to let Corvin do the work alone.
n the kitchen, Jim saw Corvin carrying back a huge bag of chili peppers and instantly took several steps back.
He remembered that thing. The last time Emma grilled meat, she had used it.
That flavor had been terrifying. Why was Corvin bringing that stuff into the kitchen?
lim stared at the large bag of chili peppers in Corvin’s hands, his brows knitting into a deep frown.
His entire body practically radiated resistance.
Corvin walked over and placed the chili peppers on the table nearby.
Seeing Jim staring at the bag the whole time, he smiled and asked, “Jim, why are you staring at these chilies? Do you like spicy ood too?”
lim didn’t say anything.
But that didn’t matter–Corvin was already used to it. He didn’t need Jim to respond and continued talking to himself.
‘I’m telling you, chili peppers are really delicious. In a bit, I’ll make something new. Once you taste it, you’ll definitely want more. t’s the kind of flavor you can’t stop eating.”
lim’s frown deepened even more. Were liger beasts really that powerful?
Veren’t they afraid of the smell? How did they consume it without stopping?
lim looked at Corvin and quietly stepped back another pace. Corvin ignored him and started preparing his dish.
Alaric glanced at Jim, then took out some tools and began making chili powder.
Meanwhile, Gaellard carried the food container back to the stone table. He couldn’t wait to open it.

Chapter 745 Handling the Heat
He had no idea what delicious food was inside tonight, but the smell was incredibly intense.
On the way back, the aroma had already made him almost lose control.
Upon cracking the container open, Gaellard looked at the several bright red dishes inside and paused.
“Why is tonight’s meal all red?”
But the smell was truly amazing. With such a powerful aroma, it had to taste even better.
After the delicious meal he had eaten at noon, Gaellard didn’t doubt the food at all.
He picked up a piece of beast meat and popped it into his mouth.
“It’s so good-”

Before he could finish, Gaellard’s entire body suddenly froze, and his face turned instantly bright red. It felt as if his whole body had been set on fire, heat surging through him all at once.
Gaellard felt like a ball of blazing flames had suddenly exploded in his mouth, racing down his throat and burning all the way to his
stomach.
His mouth hung wide open as he stuck out his tongue, fanning it desperately.
But it didn’t help at all.
The intense stimulation shot straight to the top of his head, making him forget how to think. Tears and snot burst out uncontrollably.
What on earth was this thing? It was terrifying.
Alaric, that b*stard!
Was it even edible? It was practically poison.
Gaellard scrambled in a panic and grabbed the water jug beside him, tilting his head back and gulping it down.
Luckily, he was fortunate—the cool water in the jug immediately eased the burning sensation in his mouth.
But the fierce spiciness didn’t disappear completely. Instead, it seemed to spread along with the water, rampaging across every single taste bud even more wildly.
Gaellard stuck out his tongue, his face bright red, the veins on his forehead throbbing.
He grabbed the jug again and chugged several more mouthfuls of water.
Once the burning in his mouth gradually faded, Gaellard stared at the food inside the container. Thinking about the sensation just now, he gulped.
Although eating it earlier had been extremely intense–even a little painful–he thought it tasted incredibly good.
It was even more flavorful than the food from noon.
Gaellard looked at the water jug in his hand, then glanced again at the food in the container.
