Chapter 759 They Wanted the Sculpture Too
Looking at his text, Corvin suddenly remembered something.
When Emma promised to give them gifts, Calum hadn’t arrived yet.

Then, he texted, “Emma promised it. It’s not only for me. Edric, Silas, and Lucien also have one.” Then, he tagged them and said, “Silas already got his. Silas, show yours!”
Silas had never shown this before.
Silas, who was replying to messages, rolled his eyes and wondered whether Corvin really thought everyone was as bored as him.
Silas took Emma’s carving from his storage band and glanced at it.
At home, he kept it on his bedside table. When traveling, he carried it with him.
Ding!
His lightcore struck again.
“Wait, did you all have one?” asked Calum.
Then, Malrik showed up. “I want one too,” he said. “Drake says he wants one as well.”
Drake replied, “I didn’t say that. Emma must have worked hard making those. I don’t need one.”
“I never knew Mr. Smith was such a considerate person,” Alaric chimed in. Then, he said, “Let’s ask Emma to make us one too. Since Mr. Smith cares so much about her, we’ll leave him out. What do you think, Kieran?”
Kieran replied, “Don’t drag me into this. I already have one.”
Alaric was speechless.
In the meantime, Jim sat quietly in a chair on the deck as he watched the messages flashing on his lightcore with a blank expression. He wanted one too, but the problem was that Emma hadn’t agreed to mate with him yet. Thus, Jim felt that he probably wouldn’t receive such a gift.
Why did Corvin have to add me to this group? If I hadn’t seen it, I wouldn’t want it. Then, I wouldn’t feel disappointed about it.
Jim sat motionless, almost invisible.
Lucien walked past and nearly didn’t notice him.
“Jim, what are you doing here?” He looked up at the bright sun overhead and frowned.
“Isn’t it hot?”
Jim looked at him but didn’t answer.
“Speak up,” said Lucien.
“No,” Jim replied.

Hearing his words, Lucien studied him curiously and said, “You sound unhappy. I thought you didn’t have emotions.”
Jim was speechless at Lucien’s words.
He just didn’t talk much. He wasn’t dead.

Then, Lucien took out an umbrella from his storage band and sat beside him. “What happened? Why are you unhappy?”
Jim remained silent.
“Tell me. Maybe I can help,” Lucien continued.
Jim looked at him skeptically and asked, “You?”
Lucier replied, “You don’t need to look at me like that. Since Emma brought you back, you’re family. I wouldn’t trick you. Now tell me, why are you unhappy?”
Jim hesitated for a moment before handing Lucien his lightcore.
Lucien looked at the group chat and suddenly smiled. “I get it. You want one of Emma’s wood carvings too, don’t you?”
Jim nodded silently. He didn’t really expect Emma to make one for him, but admitting it didn’t matter.
‘In that case, just ask Emma for it,” Lucien said. “She’ll agree.”
Are you sure?” Jim frowned.
Lucien grinned and said, “Let’s make a bet, If you ask and she agrees, I win. Then, you owe me a favor. If she refuses, I’ll personally ask Emma to make you one.”
‘No bet.” Jim shook his head. “I’ll ask her myself.”
fEmma didn’t agree, he wouldn’t want a gift obtained by someone else asking for it.
Lucien shrugged and said, “Suit yourself.”
“I can still do something for you,” Jim said before leaving.
Lucien watched him walk away, smiling slightly.
Jim rarely spoke, but aside from Corvin, he was probably the most sincere one in the house.
Not long after Jim left, Silas came out. Seeing Lucien sitting outside with an umbrella, Silas said helplessly, “How can you trick him just like that?”
Lucien looked at Silas with an innocent expression and said, “How can you say that I tricked him? I gave him good advice by asking him to ask Emma directly.”
Is that even advice? Silas didn’t know what to say.
Inside the room, Emma had just finished preparing the wood for Edric’s carving when her lightcore suddenly rang.
