Noelle had thought that everything would finally come to an end. She never expected something to go wrong on Xenia's end all of a sudden. She frowned and said, "I'll be right there."

She then hung up the call and quickly put on a change of clothes before leaving the dorm.

Mia looked at her and said, "I'll have Eugene go with you."

"It's fine. I'll drive there myself," Noelle replied. She then drove straight to the hospital after leaving the dorm.

She never imagined that she would one day be rushing to the hospital in the middle of the night out of fear that Xenia might die. It was nothing short of frustrating.

Noelle was irritated the entire drive. The sudden turn of events gave her a vague and inexplicable sense of unease in her heart.

After arriving at the hospital, she headed straight to the emergency room. All of her brothers were already there—all of the Liddells, except for Wyatt.

When Noelle approached them, Frank spoke up anxiously. "Noelle, you're finally here."

Noelle did not hold back. "Is every single one of you here useless?! Can't you even keep an eye on just a single person?!"

Frank was visibly ridden with guilt. "I didn't expect Wyatt to lose control like that. I already talked to him about the jab and warned him about it, and he even agreed, but he still could not control himself in the end."

Noelle was furious. "You should've anticipated what Wyatt would do in a situation like this! You should've kept him away from Xenia at the very least until the trial was over!"

Donovan spoke up with a stern expression. "What are you yelling at Frank for? He's only doing this to help us win the case. Besides, Wyatt and Frank had gotten to the point of falling out because of Frank trying to hide this from him."

Noelle turned to Donovan and replied, "And what about it? Are you guys only good at looking at things with your hindsight?"

Blake stepped forward and said, "It was our fault for not thinking things through. None of us expected Wyatt to react so wildly, either.

"The trial's tomorrow. Sean probably won't find out about this if we just keep it a secret from him."

Noelle then asked, "Where's Wyatt? Is he too ashamed to show up now?"
