Noelle watched as Wyatt took the urn from Ethan and gave the former a glance. Sure enough, his fury was just as she'd imagined. After all, no one could tolerate being cheated on and even humiliated across the internet.
When Ethan saw Wyatt holding the urn, panic flashed across his face. "You can't do this!"
"Well, I'm doing it. What are you going to do about it?" Wyatt taunted as he looked down at him condescendingly.
With that, he smashed the urn to the ground, and the ashes spilled across the floor.
Ethan exploded in fury. "You're breaking the law!"
But Blake looked at him coldly and said, "Haven't we said this enough? We know it's illegal."
Noelle chimed in with a sneer. "Drop the act. Stop pretending like you haven't broken the law, too."
As she stepped on the ashes with one foot, she continued, "You could've quietly taken the ashes and buried them somewhere I didn't know. Yet, you chose to come back here. Isn't that basically begging us to do this?"
She could never allow the daughter of her mortal enemy to be buried alongside her parents. Staring hard at Ethan, she jeered. "Mad? Tell your client to speak for herself. What's the point of sending a lapdog?"
"She'll make all of you pay. You're the ones who killed her daughter, and she'll make you all pay in blood."
Blake slapped Ethan hard across the face. "Watch your mouth. You don't talk to my little sister like that. That line should've come from us, not you."
Noelle added, "That's right. We'll definitely make her pay in blood. I'm sure she was involved back then, and that's why she's hiding."
"She's not afraid of you," Ethan retorted. "She had nothing to do with what happened. She was a victim of domestic abuse herself."
Noelle's eyes narrowed as she sharply picked up on something. "Oh, sounds like you've handled her abuse cases before."
Ethan immediately shut his mouth and refused to say another word.
Meanwhile, Blake turned to Noelle and asked, "What do you want to do with him?"
