No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 1187

Noelle was startled by Cedric's sudden movement.

Cedric held her in his arms and asked, "What are you giggling at?"

She replied, "I'm looking at your nudes. Well, from when you were one year old, of course."

She held up a photo of an adorable baby wrapped in red fabric along with wearing a red headband.

Cedric immediately took the photo from her. "So you saw my nudes, hmm? Then I should get to see something in return to make things even, don't you agree?"

He then pushed Noelle onto the bed and simultaneously tossed the photo album aside.

Cedric lowered his head for a kiss on her lips and slowly pressed down to go deeper.

Noelle turned to the side while panting slightly. "We're going out for a meal, remember?"

He propped himself up and looked at her. "What's the rush?"

"I was just reminding you."

Cedric then laid on the bed and stared at the ceiling. "Seeing this room again made me think about the past."

"Yeah, your grandmother must have really doted on you. She kept many of your childhood belongings around. She helped you preserve all those memories," Noelle replied.

He smiled. "I don't think it really matters that much. We can't turn back time after all."

"They do matter. At the very least, they made me feel like I was there with you in the past."

Noelle picked up the photo album for another look, while Cedric laid down beside her and said, "I didn't even know these photos existed."

She commented, "Your mother looks very kind and gentle."

He hesitated for a moment after seeing a photo of his biological mother. "Yeah, but I don't really remember her that well. The one that I saw the most when I was young was my grandma."

The both of them looked through the photos for some time before a knock came from the door.

A housekeeper said, "Mr. Greene, Ms. Liddell, it's time to eat."

Noelle quickly sat up. "We should get going."

Cedric sat up as well. "I'll go get changed."
