Noelle decided to ignore the message and missed calls.

Just then, Grace sent a message in the group chat. "Oh my god, Noelle! You're going viral again!"

Mia chimed in, "Mrs. Greene and Mrs. Greene Senior both posted on their Instagram yesterday. Mrs. Greene was showing off the welcome gifts she had given to her 'dear daughter-in-law' online. People are getting jealous of you, Noelle."

Grace continued, "Luckily it's already the holidays. If you were at school, you'd be swarmed by everyone for sure!"

Noelle opened up Emma's profile to take a look at the photo once more.

There were plenty of comments underneath the post. Most of them were about how envious the commenters were, with some sarcastic comments sprinkled here and there.

Noelle went through the comments and then replied to the group chat. "I'm honestly a little shocked."

Grace replied, "Congrats, Noelle! You don't have to worry about anything about your marriage after all! You won't be caught up in any of the so-called mother-in-law problems."

Noelle replied along with a sticker. "It's still too early to say that just yet."

Mia replied, "Both Mrs. Greene and Mrs. Greene Senior are wonderful people. You'll definitely live a happy life with them as your family."

Noelle also liked spending time with the Greene family a lot.

Edmund soon appeared with breakfast in hand. "Ms. Liddell, just let me know if there's anything you need."

With that, he left the dining room.

Noelle let out a sigh of relief. She had been worried that Anastasia might come and ask her questions, as she had no idea how to answer Anastasia without making things awkward.

But that did not happen at all.

Noelle felt much more at ease as a result.

Noelle's mood calmed down a little after finishing breakfast. She was about to head to the back garden when she received a call from Carl.

She hesitated for a moment, but still decided to answer it. "Hello?"

"Are you at the Greene family residence?" Carl asked.

"Yeah."

He sighed and said, "Would you have trusted me more if I had come back earlier to stand by your side?"
