She asked, "What did he say?"

She picked up a flower, placed it in Noelle's hand, and continued, "This is for you. I wish you and Cedric a smooth journey ahead."

"Thank you, Grandma. I love it."

"You like this flower better than all the expensive gifts from last night, don't you?"

Noelle felt embarrassed as she realized that Anastasia could tell what she was thinking.

Anastasia continued, "Don't worry, Noelle. You don't have to feel bad about the gifts being expensive. Our family's just a bit too wealthy, you see, so the gifts may come off as excessive. Regardless, they are still gifts to show our heartfelt sincerity."

Noelle nodded. "I understand."

"Now then, let me introduce you to my flowers."

Noelle stayed in the back garden with Anastasia and tended to the flowers together.

Time passed slowly and gently as they spent the time together, and Noelle felt that it was a very meaningful time well spent.

Noon arrived in no time. Anastasia smiled and asked, "Noelle, do you feel bored?"
