Wyatt immediately exploded with rage. "How can you be so cruel, Noelle?! This is my only child!"

"You can still have another child by getting an IVF!" Noelle replied.

"You think I don't know that?! But Carl himself said that I have barely any viable sperm left, and the chances of success are slim for what I have left. The fact that Xenia can get pregnant with my child proves that we're meant to be together!"

There was no way Wyatt would let Xenia abort the baby. He had never wanted to reveal this facet of his life, but if he did not, there was no way Donovan and Frank would agree to let Xenia keep the child.

Wyatt hated Noelle even more now. He would never have had to expose his health issues if not for Noelle giving him no other choice.

Xenia, on the other hand, was overjoyed. She immediately decided to use the baby to threaten Wyatt into protecting her.

Wyatt continued, "Donovan, I'm a cripple with nothing left to my name. My only wish is to have a healthy child. If you really send Xenia to jail, then I'll just end it all in front of you."

Donovan was slightly irritated. "If you want me to drop the charges, tell her to give me the money back!"

He could agree not to call the police so long as Xenia returned the money.

"But Xenia already said that Noelle took away the money. If you want the money, you should be asking her instead!" Wyatt replied.

Donovan was caught between a rock and a hard place. None of his options was a good choice. He had never imagined ever ending up in such a mess.

With no other choice, he turned to Noelle and said, "I need you to give me the money first. We can negotiate after that."

Noelle replied, "In your dreams. Mr. Quigley had already transferred the money away, and he still hasn't said where it has gone. Do you really think a criminal like him would just spill the beans so easily?

"He'll be arrested the moment he tells you where the money has gone. There's no way he would spit it out easily."

Wyatt grabbed her by the neck and replied, "If you're lying to me again, I'll kill you myself!"

"Wyatt, how could I lie about something like this? The baby's definitely ours!"

Noelle sneered when she saw how Wyatt was 'protecting' Xenia. "I guess you can never face reality, huh?"

Xenia started to cry. "Noelle, I know that we've had a lot of misunderstandings, but the baby in my belly is still a member of the Liddells. How can you be so cruel? Aren't you afraid of karma?"

Noelle replied, "Your father killed my parents, and yet you were still given a comfortable life for so many years. Despite that, I still don't see karma catching up to you yet.

"If you really want to know whether the child is Wyatt's or not, just go to the hospital and get a DNA test. I believe you can do a paternity test with the amniotic fluid after three months of pregnancy."

Xenia began to panic once more. She wondered if she would be exposed when the time came.
