Noelle looked up and saw Cedric. She did not expect him to manage to find this place.

Cedric slowly took off his suit jacket, tugged at his tie, and then glanced over the thugs with a haughty look.

His leather shoes were polished to a shine. He walked gracefully as he made his way right through the group of thugs. His presence alone had somehow intimidated all of the thugs.

It was not until Cedric reached Noelle's side that he finally turned around to face the thugs.

His eyes were filled with mockery. "Come at me all at once. It's much faster that way."

The leader of the thugs finally snapped back to his senses. "Get them, all of you! We're gonna teach that shameless couple a lesson!"

Noelle wanted to join the fight as well when she saw the thugs closing in, but Cedric just said, "Stay back. Don't move."

She watched as he used his suit jacket as a weapon. His striking figure was etched deeply into her heart.

She glanced at him just once before turning around to grab a broken chair nearby. She let out a roar as she joined the fight. It did not take much effort for them to beat up the thugs, leaving them sprawled all over the ground.

The leader of the thugs was beaten up thoroughly, causing him to beg for mercy. "Stop! Please stop! My new dental implants just fell off!"

It was only then that Noelle threw the broken chair in her hand away. She looked at the thug and asked, "Who sent you?"

"I just saw you chasing one of my men. I thought that he had gotten caught stealing something, so I came to help him out."

Noelle was stunned. She turned around to look for the man in the cap from earlier and saw that he had already disappeared. Apparently, they were not even working together.

Cedric looked at Noelle and said, "I'll have my men look for him."

Suddenly, a voice rang out. "There's no need. I've already caught him."

Jeremy appeared, dragging the man in gray along with him. The man's face was now much more swollen. It was apparent that he had been roughed up.
