Normally, Alfred didn’t have time to look at things like this. But now that he really looked, he found a certain charm in it.
No wonder Nella always liked sending me photos of clouds.
His gaze settled on a small dog-shaped cloud.
Suddenly, he remembered Nella had once sent him a similar cloud shaped like a dog.
He took out his phone and snapped a picture of it.
As if he’d finally found a reason to message Nella, a faint smile appeared on his face without him realizing it.
He sent the photo and attached a line of text. Just as he was about to send it, the door to the CEO’s office was suddenly pushed open.
-For some reason, in that instant, Alfred felt like he’d been caught doing something sneaky.
He instinctively stuffed his phone into his pants pocket.
“Hi, I’m back!”
Right after that came a flash of bright red, along with a heavy wave of perfume, lunging toward
him.
Before she could get close, Alfred pushed her
away.
“Why are you back?”
Alfred lifted his eyes to look at the girl in front of him.
The girl was none other than Alfred’s younger sister, Camelia Keywood.
“Come on. I’m your biological sister. We haven’t seen each other for over six months, and I don’t even get a little warm welcome?”
Camelia shot Alfred a disdainful look and plopped down on the leather couch in the office.
“With your icy personality, how does Nella even put up with you?”
When he heard the name “Nella,” Alfred’s gaze finally showed the slightest ripple.
“You here for something?”

Hearing that, Camelia quickly scooted closer to Alfred, flashed a flattering smile, and said, “I’m almost out of allowance. The New Year’s coming anyway, so just transfer me some spending money in advance. Consider it a holiday bonus.”
“The card I give you isn’t enough? What do you need so much money for? I’m warning you, don’t mess around outside or pick up any bad habits.”
“Please. Do I look like that kind of person?”
Camelia rolled her eyes. “Well, I got myself a puppy lately. He’s gorgeous, and he really suits my taste. Taking care of him completely drained my allowance.”
When Alfred heard Camelia say she was raising a dog, his expression paused.
He suddenly thought of that night at the hospital, when Nella’s eyes lit up as she looked at the small dog in that man’s arms.
A thought stirred in his mind. “You got a puppy?”
Camelia nodded vigorously.
“Do girls all love raising puppies?”
There was a hint of curiosity in Alfred’s eyes.
“Isn’t that obvious? Who doesn’t like a good-looking puppy?”
Camelia shot Alfred another disdainful look.
“What kind of puppy costs you millions a month to raise?”
Alfred looked at her coldly.
“Hehe. I’ll show you pictures. I guarantee you’ll think the money’s worth it.”
As she spoke, Camelia pulled up several photos on her phone and handed them to Alfred.
“Look. Isn’t he good-looking? That body. Isn’t it perfect? Totally worth me spending a million a month on him, right?”
When Alfred saw Camelia’s so-called “puppy,” his face slowly darkened.
“The puppy you’re talking about is a man?”
