“How could they possibly find out? They’re probably just making up a reason to brush us off.

“Professor Fred is Nella’s mentor. He’ll definitely try to protect her. Anyway, Dad, you absolutely can’t back down this time. They have to give us an answer that satisfies us.”

Seeing how confident his daughter looked, Norris still hesitated.

“Zoey, how can you be so sure they won’t find out?”

“That’s because…”
