Alfred’s eyes narrowed. “The company that’s been trying to partner with us on our shipping routes?”

“Yes.”

Sergio nodded. “We also found out that the man behind Canyon Group is Lincoln Shaw, Wesley’s stepfather.”

Alfred fell silent.

“Is there anything shady about Canyon Group’s operations?”

“On the surface, everything looks clean and legal. But w discovered that one of Canyon Group’s long-term partners is a company that officially deals in fireworks, but is actually running an arms trade under the table.”

Sergio’s expression turned serious. “And the man behind that company is also Lincoln.”

Alfred’s face darkened. “Is my aunt involved in any of this?”

Sergio shook his head. “So far, we haven’t found any evidence that Mrs. Tolina is involved.”

“What about Wesley?”

“Aside from studying at Apex four years ago, Wesley has been working as a doctor in Glacieroth. No other activity.

“Also, a few days ago, Canyon Group underwent a major shakeup. Many of the top executives were replaced. And three days ago, Lincoln left Northvalen. His current whereabouts are unknown.”
