No Second Baby No You Only Divorce (Scarlett and Vincent) novel Chapter 591

Scarlett had finally reached her limit with Amanda's relentless nagging. Her voice dropped to a cold, sharp whisper. "Get out."

Hearing that only made Amanda angrier.

After a pause, she fixed her gaze on Scarlett and said flatly, "Have the divorce papers sent to me within three days. Otherwise, don't blame me for playing dirty."

At the mention of divorce, something shifted in Scarlett's expression. "The one who won't sign is your precious son. You want a divorce? Go talk to him. If he agrees, I'll get on my knees and thank you myself."

Amanda blinked, caught off guard. "You—"

Scarlett didn't flinch. "Leave now, or I'm calling the police."

Amanda's face twisted with anger. "You little brat. You think Ruth's gonna treat you any better once you're out of my sight? Let me tell you—she'll make my treatment of you look gentle."

Scarlett let out a cold laugh. "Not your problem anymore."

It dawned on Amanda then—Scarlett wasn't bluffing. She really didn't care about Vincent anymore. She actually wanted out.

But leaving the Stewart family wasn't going to be that easy.

When Amanda had first married into that family, she'd bled for it. If Scarlett wanted to walk away now, she'd have to leave some skin behind.

Amanda didn't linger. She stormed out of the hospital room, slamming the door so hard the frame rattled.

Scarlett didn't have time to dwell on it. She grabbed her phone from the nightstand and saw a missed call from Ruth.

She dialed back immediately.

Ruth picked up after the first ring, her voice tight. "Scarlett? Anything?"

Scarlett swallowed. "Not yet, Ruth. But don't panic. I'll go find him."

She hung up and tried to sit up.

The moment she did, her head spun violently.

Then everything went black.

Right before she lost consciousness, she heard Violet's frantic voice cutting through the haze. "Scarlett! Scarlett! What's wrong? Someone help!"

That night, a rare drizzle settled over Rivergate. The rain fell soft and fine, like drifting mist.

In the shadows outside Lennox Manor, a car had been sitting for over ten hours without moving.

Rain streaked down the windshield, but the driver hadn't bothered with the wipers.

Through the haze of smoke inside, a pair of elegant hands loosely held a cigarette.
