Chapter 514 Lost Forever
It was his fault. He had failed to treasure what he had.
At that moment, Tyrone’s regret hit a new peak.

His body went limp as he collapsed beside the coffee table in the living room. Empty wine bottles lay scattered around his knees as he dropped to the floor.
He bent forward slightly, clutching his head with both hands. A low, broken growl escaped his throat as he tried to release the pain inside.
Aella was gone. Completely gone. She no longer belonged to him.
Tyrone let out a mocking laugh. The corners of his bloodshot eyes were wet with tears.
When Brad walked in, Tyrone was leaning against the couch, sitting alone in a daze.
The room was thick with the smell of alcohol. Brad quickly opened the windows to let in fresh air.
Then he turned back, walked up to Tyrone, and took the wine glass from his hand.
Brad sat on the edge of the coffee table, facing him.
“Tyrone,” Brad said, “Aella did love you once. But what’s gone is gone. You can’t bring it back, no matter how much you regret it.”
Brad looked around the living room and tried to reason with him.
“You two were divorced. Keeping all her things here means nothing now. You should get someone to pack them up and throw them away.”
He added, “And the wedding photo on the wall, you should have it taken down too. Aella has a boyfriend now. If other people see it, it’s not appropriate.”
Tyrone slowly turned his head and looked at the wedding photo of him and Aella. His eyes grew even redder.
His lips trembled before he finally spoke.
“We grew up together,” he said softly. “If she’s found someone right for her, I’m happy for her.”
Brad stood up. “If that’s how you feel, then I’ll help you take the photo down.”

Suddenly, Tyrone snapped. He staggered to his feet and blocked him. “Don’t touch anything in this house!”
Brad pressed a finger against Tyrone’s chest. “Didn’t you say you grew up together? Didn’t you say you’re happy for her? I haven’t even done anything yet. Why are you freaking out?”
Tyrone stumbled back a step.
His heart ached as if it were bleeding.
He retreated until he hit the couch and collapsed into it, drained of all strength.
Brad sighed. In the end, he did not take the photo down.
He softened his tone and said patiently, “Tyrone, just admit it. You’re in love with Aella.”
Tyrone didn’t deny it. His red eyes stared into endless darkness.
Love that comes too late is worthless.
He didn’t deserve happiness. He didn’t deserve a perfect ending.
The sight of him made Brad uneasy.
They had known each other for years, but this was the first time Brad had seen Tyrone in such pain, so broken and lost.
