It had been a long time since Tyrone gave those gifts to Aella. She had never opened them. Not
once.
Tyrone sat alone and opened them one by one. A pink diamond ring. A diamond necklace. The bank card Aella insisted on returning to him tonight.
And the last thing she gave him was an amulet.
In his mind, the image of Aella running toward Daniel overlapped with old memories.
She used to run toward him like that too. That girl used to throw herself into his arms again and again.
But now, he could only watch another man hold her tight. Watch another man kiss her.
Tyrone sat on the edge of the bed. His body slowly slid down until his knees hit the floor. Regret crushed him. He wanted to smash his head into the wall.
All the emotions he had nowhere to release finally burst out. A rough, broken sound came from his throat, like the low roar of a wounded animal.
A few days later.
Aella invited friends from their social circle to dinner. She officially introduced Daniel to
everyone.
Almost everyone came. Only Tyrone was missing.
Someone casually asked, “Why didn’t Tyrone come today?”
Raine was in a gloomy mood. She looked down and glanced at Brad.
Brad covered for him. “Tyrone has a business trip tomorrow. He couldn’t make it.”
Everyone understood. No one said more.
Aella told everyone that she and Daniel would get engaged next week. The room erupted with cheers and teasing.
With Brad and Daniel there, the atmosphere stayed lively.

Chapter 519 Real Love and Ignorance
After the dinner ended, Daniel walked with Aella to the parking lot. They had just reached the car when Aella suddenly stopped.
Daniel asked nervously, “What’s wrong? Did you twist
your ankle?”

Aella looked embarrassed but had no choice but to say it. “Hmm, I got my period.”
Before she could finish speaking, Daniel quickly took off his jacket and tied it around her waist.
Aella said, “Wait for me here. I’ll go to the store across the street and buy pads.”
Daniel stopped her. “You can’t go now. I’ll go.”
Aella shook her head. “No way. A man buying pads will get laughed at.”
Daniel replied calmly, “I’m buying them for my wife. That’s only right. What’s there to be embarrassed about?”
Aella grabbed his arm and looked straight into his eyes. “Have you ever bought them for someone else?”
The memory of Tyrone buying them for Zera stabbed her heart like a thorn.
Even now, thinking about it still made her uncomfortable.
Daniel answered immediately, firm and sincere. “That’s private. I’d never do that for anyone else. I promise–you’re the first and the only one.”
He gently told Aella to sit in the car and wait for him. Then he jogged across the street to the
store.
Aella sat in the car, watching his back, and couldn’t help but smile.
Not far away, inside a black sedan.
Tyrone gripped the steering wheel tightly as he watched through the window.
