**Faith Didn’t Survive Time – by Aadi Sharma**
**Chapter 89**
“Renee?”
“Babe!”
The simultaneous cries from Adam and Alison echoed through the tense atmosphere, each voice laced with disbelief and urgency.
Adam sprang into action, his heart racing as he lunged forward, desperate to reach Renee. But before he could close the distance, Alison’s swift kick sent him stumbling back, a fierce protective instinct igniting within her.
“Get lost, you trash!” she shouted, her voice sharp like glass. With fierce determination, she wrapped her arm around Renee’s waist, holding her close, as if to shield her from the chaos around them. “Jasper! What are you waiting for? Help me get my best friend to the hospital!”
Jasper, who had been momentarily frozen in shock, crushed his cigarette beneath his heel and moved with purpose. He bent down, scooping Renee into his strong arms, and without a backward glance, he strode away, each step filled with urgency.
“Mr. Zeller, put my wife down!” Adam’s voice was a mix of fury and desperation as he attempted to follow them, but Leon’s imposing figure blocked his path.
“Mr. Graham, we need you to accompany us for questioning. We have reason to believe you may be involved in the poisoning of Ms. Whitley,” Leon stated, his tone unyielding, as if delivering a sentence.
“That’s absolute bullshit! I’m Renee’s husband!” Adam’s anger boiled over, but the officers, unmoved by his protests, began to escort him and Kayla away. Leon’s gesture was firm, and the officers’ grip was unyielding.
Kayla, struggling against their hold, felt a surge of frustration. She wanted to scream out the secret that could change everything—that Renee could never have children—but the words caught in her throat. With the reporters already driven off by Julian’s men, her voice was lost in the chaos, leaving her simmering with resentment.
Meanwhile, Julian’s worry for Renee overshadowed everything else, especially for Kayla. He made the decision to accompany his sister to the police station, concerned that the situation was spiraling out of control.
As the news spread like wildfire across the internet, it dominated headlines on major news sites, igniting a frenzy of speculation and gossip.

At the hospital, Alison stood just outside a room, her heart heavy with gratitude as she glanced at her brother. “Thank you so much for today, Jasper. I honestly don’t know what would have happened if you hadn’t stepped in.”
Renee had narrowly escaped a horrific fate, and the mere thought of what could have transpired without Jasper’s intervention sent chills down her spine.
Jasper, his hands buried deep in his pockets, shot his sister a cold, piercing look. “You need to stay far away from people like Kayla. No one’s going to protect you all the time.”
Alison nodded, the weight of his words sinking in. “I know.”
A sudden thought struck her, and she added urgently, “Our family owns Seraph Island. My best friend almost lost her life there. You have to get to the bottom of this and find out what really happened.”
Jasper’s gaze flickered toward the glass window of the hospital room, his mind racing with possibilities. For a moment, he was silent, lost in thought, before he turned away, determination etched on his face.
“Hey, Jasper? You didn’t answer me,” Alison called after him, frustration bubbling within her.
As she thought about everything Renee had endured that day, her blood boiled. She wanted nothing more than to see Adam and Kayla face the consequences of their actions, to make them pay for the pain they had caused.
