Others Summon Dragons, I Summon Legendary Knights novel Chapter 134

Chapter 134: Golden Eyes, Arden

Four golden diagrams blazed to life behind Godfrey. Heavy metallic sounds echoed in the silent hall, forcing the Elders to squint as the Golden Order Knights emerged from their portals.

Their armours were thick, ornate, and the insignia of the sun was polished so well it reflected the rays of the sun brightly.

Each knight looked unique, as if a ton of craftsmen were selected to dedicate their lifetime to each armour.

Tempest’s Double-Bladed Greatsword rested with a soft clink on his pauldron, which was no match for Mountain’s huge pauldrons that offered side protection to his head already hidden behind a great helm.

The golden halo levitating above Tempest’s hooded face seemed to absorb the rays of the sun, thus gaining a brighter sheen.

On the other hand, the Heavy Infantry knight held a huge round shield, almost his height, in one hand, a long golden spear in the other gauntleted hand, and a longsword strapped.

Ballista, who didn’t have any holes for eyes in his helmet, seemed to have the most piercing gaze, or at least, that was what the Elders felt.

As for Lament, the aura around him was chilling, the aura of the dead, and yet the brilliance of the sun shone through his dignified golden armour and long white cloak that fell on his horse’s back.

Though his helmet was Spartan, he also wore a thick golden-silver chainmail that hid his face. The eyes of his horse glowed like the sun; staring right at it was impossible, it just irritated the eyes.

"I have never seen a Quad summoner with such an array. This is new," Inara said.

"It’s not even been a year since he awakened. When I saw him, he had three knights. The situation demanded he use all his strength, so he wouldn’t be hiding the fourth. I did some research and discovered he first had just one. When I met him, there were three, and now there’s one on the horse. And each of them is much stronger than the last."

"What?!" Inara’s expression became more serious.

Arian looked at John and Orion, who observed. Godfrey had already shown them he had what it took to become an Elite Class. Elite Class in the Vagabond Cohort were all king/queen tier summoners.

Regular Class were Elite Tier, High Tier, and Lord Tier.

"He still falls below the king tier but he has the potential to be one and a strong one," Orion pointed out.

"Actually..." Godfrey stressed out.

Just then, his summons entered Black-Out State. Their dignified golden armour became an ominous crimson as their tiers rose up by 1.0.

Tempest rose to 9.0, Ballista to 7.5, Mountain to 7.0, while Lament rose to 10.5.

Inara leaned back. "Is that Overload? How did he learn it outside this place?!"

"I didn’t. I don’t even know what Overload is. This is called Black-Out State. You see, my knights are Primal-type summons given the traits of chimeric-type creatures which they can access in this state. They’re hybrids – part primal, part chimeric."

"That sounds impossible," Orion stated. "A hybrid type summon and not just one? What sort of concept is that?"

"It’s before your eyes," Arian stated. "Once he learns Overload, those summons would be able to increase their strength by another 1.0."

Orion’s heart shook. Did his ears hear right?
