Chapter 221: Odd Dwarves

Modified vehicles traversed through the forest in the Antarctica dungeon. One major perk of having a team with lots of diversity was even logistics was accounted for.

A summon with the capability to store their vehicles should the dungeon be too dangerous for them had never received so much praise as these vehicles helped them outpace the gorillas.

They were strong and had fast reflexes in close combat but these cars ran on cores and were never exhausted. Each vehicle could carry up to twenty summoners and all the guilds that came had a total of thirty.

Unfortunately, the total number of summoners had reduced greatly. None of them expected an all out war against an army of Saints Tier gorillas that were almost impossible to kill.

They could even replace their decapitated head, and regenerate from all types of attacks that were not above their tier.

The red headed Divine Tier mini bosses or generals of the gorilla boss were able to wield red flames which proved to be much hotter than the orange one and could also regenerate endlessly.

Eliza had succeeded in taking off the head of one mini boss and that was when she realized there was no greater dread than a ferocious enemy that couldn’t be killed.

Its flames grew even stronger and the gorilla eventually reattached its head, shocking her to the core. This was beyond any kind of self regeneration she had ever seen. It was almost necromancy.

And it all dawned on them when they realized it was the gorilla boss ability all along. That lightning was just one in its arsenal. As long as the boss remained alive, those gorillas would keep regenerating and coming back.

"We need to kill the boss." Eliza declared while sitting beside her Guild Master who drove the modified vehicle they were in. The driver had unfortunately been devoured by a gorilla after his summon was crushed with one blow.

"By the time we do that, everyone might be dead. Maybe you might not even survive too." Caspian replied grimly.

"I’ve seen you fight before, Guild Master. Can’t you freeze that boss’ army so we can face the boss?" A gray haired young man asked. If Godfrey or any of his classmates were here, they would recognise this boy as Alistair, the aloof student from Polaris.

Seated beside him was Seraphina. She looked more mature and her pink hair was braided into a long ponytail. She wore a face cap and had a solemn look on.

Both of them sat with other summoners of the justice guild, all of whom were clad in combat attires, made from dungeon metals and beast parts which were to serve as basic defence should a summoner’s mana run out or if they were not quick enough to react to an attack.

Each and every one of them also had pistols strapped to their thighs. This was also another basic need as these bullets were carefully made to be able to kill powerful summons as the normal bullet could barely kill anything above Elite Tier.

"These are Saint Tier monsters we’re talking about and hundreds of them. I might be an Origin Tier summoner but immobilising an army that big isn’t possible. At most, it could last a minute before they break out and that’s if the boss won’t break them out before then."

Caspian’s reply made Alistair shut his eyes and lower his head.

"What if we find somewhere to keep the others and we face it with all the Saints Tiers we have. With you and Guild Master Alfred, we might stand a chance." Eliza spoke up.

"That’s true. I was able to control those gorillas to fight each other. With other Saint Tiers to aid me, we might be able to win." Seraphina added with conviction. Her ability to make those who look at her peacock wings puppets that would do her will resulted in the least amount of casualties around her.

Together with Alistair’s pure offensive summon, the duo could take down a Divine Tier with ease.
