Others Summon Dragons, I Summon Legendary Knights novel Chapter 373

Chapter 373: Trident Of The Deep

There were countless sharks and other apex predators. They all fought under his command, annihilating the orcs, but now all of them swarmed toward him.

’King. Don’t kill them, they’re being controlled.’ Percival communicated with King, who then spread out his arms, forcing the water to move away, creating a massive hole several hundred meters in radius. That area was devoid of water, from the surface to the ocean bed!

Everything fell, Conquest, the sea beasts, and the corpses of countless orcs. Only the leviathan floated mid-air.

With a roar, Conquest spun, his muscles bulging, veins protruding as he launched the trident. The shockwave sounded like a detonation as the trident flew toward Levi.

It became a blur. Levi was big. It would be hard to miss such a massive target.

But Percival retrieved his leviathan and fell downward, his eyes widening as the trident flew right past him.

Conquest manipulated water from afar and propelled himself into the air to meet Percival. The trident manifested out of water at the last moment, and he swung it at Percival.

Inches away from his face, Percival vanished, and a much smaller leviathan, not longer than twenty feet, lashed out, biting off the orc’s forearm!

The trident fell, turned into water, and reformed in Conquest’s other arm. With a loud roar, he swung it at Levi but was blasted with another powerful burst of water from the leviathan’s maw.

Conquest fell. King took advantage of the moment as he let go, allowing water to fill back that space while he shot upward with all his might.

A trident appeared in his hand, and he plunged it through the orc from its back. Conquest was preparing for Levi’s second blast, and by the time he realised something was heading for him, a trident had pierced through his chest.

Conquest’s eyes widened. He lost... how?

He had the weapon of an ancient god!

"I once fell and I rose but you won’t," Percival said, descending toward him. He manipulated the water to bring the trident towards him as Conquest was swarmed by countless sea creatures.

The orc roared defiantly, but the moment he acknowledged defeat in his heart, he lost ownership of the trident, and that made him defenceless at the bottom of the ocean.

His roars didn’t save him from being torn to shreds in a blink of an eye. King made sure he retrieved his core before a monster could consume it.

Percival, on the other hand, examined the trident. It had some drawings, a megalodon, a stingray, and other sea beasts. Some were small, some were quite big, and some he had not even seen before.

It might be that the sea creatures everyone who had ever wielded this weapon had killed were stored within it; the trident gained the ability to make them shape-shift into that creature.

That meant this trident was a legacy with countless sea creatures stored within it.

The trident also allowed him to make anyone able to breathe underwater as long as he was actively ensuring it. It also had great mastery in water manipulation and could draw water from almost anything, including living beings!

Percival’s eyes widened. ’What’s going on? How do I know all of this?! It’s like the trident is telling me what it can do... but drawing water out of people?! I’ll have to be insane to do that.’

"King." Percival called out and tossed the trident to his summon.

King grabbed it with both hands, studying the trident. Percival could sense the awe in his summon’s mind, and he chuckled.
