Others Summon Dragons, I Summon Legendary Knights novel Chapter 380

Chapter 380: Blue Ace & Golden Ace

Arnold turned. "That man, Percival Jackson, was known as the Blue Ace when the former Captain was in charge. According to what I know, whenever there’s a serious raid, he’s called not to fight and rescue but to suppress whatever they’re facing."

Arnold spoke as he walked to his seat and sat down. "Don’t underestimate him. You both are fortunate but he’s been receiving mana fruits since the past age and is currently a Titled god. He’s also a dual summoner. With all that, you can see the reason he’s called the Blue Ace, the Cohort’s card of victory."

Arnold gently tapped his index finger on the table. "But you’re right, Nathan. His old ideals do not suit our new ones. He’ll have to adjust and grow or be forced to submit, preferably by me. If he’s unfortunate, by the Captain."

"Did you see the way Oliver spoke to me?" Nathan clenched his teeth. "I could crush the skull of his weak summon. He’s already a walking mummy, there’s no harm in making him an actual one." Nathan grinned, though it wasn’t out of delight but the possibilities that would be unlocked once he had the corpse of Oliver’s summon.

"You’re a weird little boy." Alora scowled, making Nathan pout.

"I haven’t heard of this Blue Ace. All I heard about was the Golden Ace. I don’t understand." She leaned forward, curious to know if she had heard wrongly.

Percival was turning out to be an interesting fellow. Strong fellows were interesting fellows, the strength you had determined your place, that was the law of the insect race.

Arnold’s eyes flickered.

’Godfrey Daniels, no affiliation.’

That voice echoed in his mind as he recalled how that young man filled the fortress with golden armoured knights and unleashed that female knight who summoned several dragons and decimated a legion of undead.

"He was a former member of the Cohort who left for no reason at all despite the sacrifices the former Captain and his team made for him." Arnold said.

"How strong was he?" Alora replied.

"Quite strong. He has an advantage in numbers but he cannot compare to the Captain." Arnold’s reply made Nathan and Alora look at each other.

They picked something from what he said. Arnold indirectly compared him with the Captain, meaning only the Captain would be able to put this one in his place.

They felt challenged. Only by going against tough foes would they be able to adapt, forcing their summons to become much stronger until their foe eventually fell.

With the kind of potential Saul said they had, they were certain this Golden Ace would eventually be just one among the many stepping stones to becoming an ancient god and rising through its tiers.

"Who exactly is this Golden Ace and where is he now?" Nathan cocked his head.

"He’s Doctor Valentina’s son."

Percival held the mezzanine and looked at the pit’s ground floor. In the middle of the ground floor was the pit. Some people called the entire place the den and, in a way, they weren’t wrong.

This used to be the place everyone gathered but now it was abandoned.

The colosseum was now the main place, it had both the fighting arena and the underground area where people prepared. It was a massive structure with lots of activities and the rewards of cores made it even more appealing than the pit where skills were tested.

Injuries were allowed in the pit but death was acceptable in the colosseum. Knowing about this made Percival unable to see Saul in a good light.
