Isaac ran, his boots slamming against the paved street as he watched a dragon descending from the sky. It was another one Ghost attacked.
This dragon evaded the attack but Luthor’s tail tore its wing open. Isaac shot a web to the last building that would lead to a right turn.
He held the web tight and kept running as if he wanted to crash into the house on the other end of the street but the web pulled him back.
That sudden force took his feet off the floor and he shot more webs, each web pulling him higher and higher until he landed on top of a tall building. While doing all these, he was calculating the falling dragon.
With great force, he leaped off, soaring into the sky, right past the falling dragon, his hair fluttering wildly. When it saw him, the dragon launched dragonfire at him, unaware of the huge black spider with crimson eyes below.
Neila prepared thousands of pale strands, stretched between buildings, woven into a dense labyrinth of sticky silk strong enough to ensnare her target, which was a dragon this time around.
’Little twerp, don’t get yourself killed!’ Neila’s voice rang in Isaac’s head as he forced himself out of the dragonfire’s path by webbing the dragon’s wings and spinning around the dragon.
He scoffed at Neila’s voice and landed on the dragon’s chest. He activated an Echo of Neila Spider Spawn skill and small spiders manifested from nowhere and began to move.
They couldn’t inflict damage on this dragon because of his tier but they could be a nuisance, a proper one that could keep this dragon distracted.
Neila was a 38.0 Titled God-Tier summon and although he couldn’t gauge the exact tier of this dragon, it had to be a Titled God too but with a much lower point.
However, it had greater offensive power.
’He’s all yours!’
Isaac ran along the length of the dragon and leaped off as it fell right into Neila’s web. Neila grabbed her web as she moved below it while the dragon was stuck on it.
She quickly scuttled over as the dragon kept struggling. Her forelimbs pierced the dragon’s skull, killing it in one calculated blow.
Her eyes zoomed in on another dragon swooping down for her. Neila left the web and fled the scene as the dragon roasted its dead comrade and burned down her web.
As the dragon flew over the ruins, searching for her, Neila who had reverted to her human form transformed back into a giant spider and launched a web at the dragon’s tail, then she pulled backwards, forcing the dragon to the ground.
With a loud sound, it crashed. The dragon roared but Neila launched several webs, locking its tail and limbs to the ground, then webbed its mouth before it could breathe fire.
She transformed into her humanoid form. Her eight spider legs reduced and clung to her body as she licked her lips.
Neila opened her mouth and absorbed the dragon’s memories before one of her spider legs pierced through its skull.
"There, there. You’re a child fighting your mother with the intent to kill. Tsk! I knew not having offsprings was the right call." She muttered to herself, ignoring some obvious factors like this dragon’s state. All she knew was that Isolde is their mother, regardless of whether she gave birth to them or not. She gave them a home, made sure they had food, and strengthened them.
Her rise to becoming a demigod resulted in her rehatching all her dragons and any one that came to her domain, turning her title into a reality.
