Our Anniversary, You Chose Her – I Chose Divorce novel Chapter 442

Chapter 442: Chapter 442: Lonely

The Grant Family Estate.

Little Noah sat in the living room, glancing up at the front gate from time to time. When the person he was waiting for didn’t appear, he would lower his head again and go back to playing with his toys.

A maid was watching over him, and the butler was nearby. The whole Grant Family Estate villa seemed exceptionally serene.

Just then, the sound of a car engine broke the silence. Noah’s eyes instantly lit up. He dropped his toy, scrambled to his feet, and ran toward the door.

A car pulled up to the villa’s entrance. The door opened, and he saw Walker Grant. "Uncle!" he yelled excitedly.

Then, he saw a woman get out of the passenger seat. Without even getting a clear look, he shouted, "Mommy!"

Walker’s tone was cold. "That’s your auntie."

Noah froze. His big, obsidian-dark eyes blinked, and his excitement immediately vanished. "Auntie," he said politely.

Chloe Reed got out of the car and looked at the little boy standing at the entrance. He was exquisitely handsome. She had seen photos of Julian Grant, and Noah bore a strong resemblance to him.

’But she just couldn’t bring herself to like him.’

’He was Sunny Reed’s child.’

’Still, she wouldn’t do anything to a child.’

She simply gave a faint acknowledgment before walking into the living room.

Noah watched her walk past timidly, then turned to Walker Grant. "Uncle, why haven’t you come back for so many days? I missed you."

Noah had started preschool and his vocabulary had grown. His eyes were now filled with anticipation as he hugged Walker Grant’s leg.

Walker Grant bent down, picked the little boy up, and asked, "Have you been keeping up with your lessons?"

Noah nodded and said very seriously, "Yes! Teacher Strawberry even praised me!"

"Mm," Walker Grant replied. "Very good. Keep it up."
