Outcast Omega Pampered by the Alpha General novel Chapter 15

Chapter 15 The Old Wolf Returned

Inside the endless black tide of insectoids, the ships led by the mothership “Daybreak” lit up one after another.

Their engines were pushed far past their limits. Their energy reserves bled dry.

Yet the light from their burning spirit forms set deep space ablaze, bright enough to mimic dawn.

“For the Ark, we give our lives.”

The broken silver wolf darkened inch by inch.

Stellar power coursed through its massive body, wrapping around the entire mothership. It burned, consumed, and reforged the vessel into a spear of light that charged into the darkness alongside thousands of starships.

There was no earth-shaking blast.

Only white.

Blinding, absolute white.

At the same time, the deep-space gate reached full power. The transport fleet became countless streaks of light, vanishing completely beyond space-time.

The stars were cold.

The galaxy said nothing.

Orion Ashford opened his eyes in the middle of that white light.

Above him stretched a dull yellow sky. Around him, factory ruins sprawled over the planet like infected sores, filling the air with the heavy, stale smell of rust and death.

Even after five years, Orion remembered this place with painful clarity.

This was the day he had nearly died fighting the Brood Mother, then accidentally triggered spatial law and fallen onto Zerath.

It was also the day his psychic sea shattered.

The day he lost his place on the front line forever.

His cold emerald eyes narrowed slightly.

This had to be an illusion.

His final, unwilling hallucination before death.

Because he was not only seeing Zerath as it had been five years ago.

There was someone else hereчoo.

Chapter 15 The Old Wolf Returned

An Omega with amber eyes and messy black hair falling over his forehead.

And right now, that Omega was sitting on top of him, staring at his lips as he slowly leaned down.

“Mm… hey, you smell so good…”

Orion: “..”

Hot.

Julian’s mind was a haze. Heat flooded every inch of him, turning even his breath scorching.

He searched blindly for anything cold.

When he finally found it, he climbed on top without the slightest hesitation.

“Mm… hey, you smell so good…”

The scent was cool, clean, and sharp, like an aurora sweeping across a frozen plain.

Julian could not stop himself from leaning closer.

One breath.

Then another.

He was like a clingy little creature, almost ready to bury his face against the man’s long neck and roll there

in comfort.

The only reason he did not was because the owner of that neck pushed him away.

Orion said, “Cadet, calm down.”

Julian mumbled, “Mm… closer.”

Orion: “…”

One second ago, Orion had been convinced he had lost his mind.

Now, all he could do was force one hand up and push the Omega back, trying to keep that faint, clean, young pheromone scent at a safer distance.

He remembered that the Imperial Military Academy was running its assessment on Zerath around this time.

Judging by the Omega’s age and uniform, the boy should have been a first-year cadet.

So why was he here?

“Awoo.”

Orion turned his head with difficulty.

Chapter 15 The Old Wolf Returned

His old partner lay beside him, its body riddled with cracks and flickering in and out of view. A pair of greet eyes, identical to Orion’s, watched him quietly.

For a moment, Orion’s eyes nearly burned.

Because this was his spirit form.

And they had not seen each other in years.

“Ruin. Did you save him?”

The silver wolf did not answer.

But Orion already knew.

He simply had not expected that, on this desolate planet, Ruin would bring him a young Omega who was in the middle of presentation and had clearly slipped into pseudo-heat.

The Empire had long since entered an age where secondary sex was determined at birth.

Even Orion had never seen a case like this.

And worse-After being pushed away from his neck, the Omega lowered his face and pressed his soft, pale cheek into Orion’s rough palm.

Then he rubbed against it, gently, like a small animal seeking comfort.

Orion’s throat tightened.

That young scent, faintly sweet beneath its freshness, swept over him again. For the first time, even a mature, self-disciplined Alpha like him doubted his own control.

Cute.

I want to bite him.

Unfortunately, another wave of heat crashed through Julian. His already slow mind burned even hotter, and his need for something cool reached its limit.

“It hurts…”

Julian

was still polite and reasonable at his core, so he did not try to lean down again.

Instead, he lifted his face and looked at Orion with those clear amber cat eyes, dazed and pitiful.
