Chapter 2 Maybe You Should Reflect on Yourself
The dorm hallway went quiet because of Julian’s question.
Elias simply stared at him, his clear eyes filled with disbelief.
Seeing his favorite younger brother get shut down, Tristan immediately stepped in.
“Elias, you keep defending him, and this is how he treats you?”
As he spoke, Tristan shot Julian another look of disgust.
“Did you forget how he pushed you down the stairs? If we let him onto our team, who knows what he might do to you?”
The moment Tristan said that, the surrounding students gasped.
Omegas made up only five percent of the interstellar population. With their rare healing psychic power. they were known as the brightest jewels in the Empire’s crown.
And Julian, an ordinary Beta, had actually been vicious enough to lay hands on an Omega?
When Elias noticed the way everyone was starting to look at Julian, he quickly gave Tristan an anxious look.
“Tristan, if you won’t let Julian join, then I won’t join your team either.”
Tristan’s expression instantly turned complicated-part pained, part helpless.
When he looked back at Julian, he seemed as if he had swallowed something rotten.
“Since Elias has spoken up for you, log back into the exam system and submit your team request again. As long as you behave, I’ll have Caelan approve it.”
The two of them had reluctantly decided Julian’s fate for him.
Julian, however, only looked puzzled.
“I pushed him down the stairs? Didn’t he throw himself down on purpose?”
He looked calmly at Elias.
He
He was not trying to argue.
He genuinely did not understand.
“You!”
Tristan bit the inside of his check. His Alpha temper flared so violently that he almost wanted to punch Julian in the face.
Julian, however, became even more confused.
“And about your permission to let me join the team-didn’t we just agree that you should all pretend I was

dead?”
Maybe You Should Reflect on Yourself
The air fell still again.
Tristan grew even more irritated. Even Elias widened those clear eyes of his.
Julian was acting very strangely today.
“Julian, I know you’ve disliked me for a long time, but Father, Mother, and our brothers all want us to get. along…”
Elias was still testing him.
But Julian was feverish, dizzy, and completely out of patience.
“If you know I dislike you, why do you keep coming near me? Maybe you should reflect on that.”
Elias had no answer. “…”
“Julian Shaw, don’t go too far!”
The violence buried in an Alpha’s nature made Tristan restless, but Elias held him back again.
“Julian, the academy’s midterm field assessment won’t be easy. Are you sure you don’t want to be on our team?”
“No.”
“Then you’d better remember what you said today!”
“Okay.”
Not only did Julian say no, he also slammed the door shut under Tristan’s warning glare.
Tristan: “?”
Elias: “?”
The crowd: “…”
Only after the crowd gradually dispersed did Tristan and the other Alphas begin comforting Elias.
“Julian is just ungrateful. Elias, you really need to stop indulging him.”
Humiliated by Julian, Tristan gave a cold laugh.
“Good. Let him stay out. He’s just a Class F mecha engineer. I’d love to see who’s desperate enough to take him.”
Elias smiled obediently and soon left with Tristan and the others comforting him.
