Outcast Omega Pampered by the Alpha General
Chapter 201 The Risk No One Could Avoid
A temporary marking would ruin Julian Shaw’s gland.
A full marking would ruin his reproductive cavity.
If he were any other Omega, they might have let him hold out here and pray his body made it through
But Julian was not any other Omega.
He had undergone gene cleansing, then been forced into an accelerated phase before his body had time to
recover.
Forced maturation without soothing. A weak body. A clouded mind. Growth pain tearing through him. Pseudo-heat burning on top of it all.
If they made him endure this alone, he might die.
Orion Ashford was Julian’s Alpha.
That made him the only person who could save Julian.
It also made him the Alpha with the highest compatibility, and therefore the one most capable of harming him.
Life and death rested on one decision.
By the time Dr. Quill finished explaining, sweat had broken out across his forehead again.
Even he could barely breathe under the pressure of it.
Orion only said one thing.
“I understand.”
Then he crossed the room and sat on the couch farthest from the bed.
His spine stayed rigid. His whole body was pulled tight as a drawn bow.
Sweat rolled off his jaw, one drop after another. Dr. Quill saw it clearly. Orion kept his eyes shut and forced every desire stirred awake by pheromones down into a place no one else could see.
Dr. Quill exhaled. He had just turned toward the door when Orion spoke again.
“Bring me ten more inhibitors.”
For a second, Dr. Quill wanted to tell him he was out of his mind.
But he knew Orion too well.
If anyone in this room was still sober, it was Orion.
So the inhibitors were sent in. Dr. Quill withdrew with the entire medical staff, leaving the room to Julian

and Orion.
Betas could not scent pheromones, but a room saturated with them could still wear down the body if the. stayed too long.
And this was Orion’s pheromones they were talking about.
As for whether Orion might lose control, whether they should leave a Beta guard inside…
Sure.
A guard could stand there.
But could he stop him?
On the bed, Julian panted hard.
He was burning.
Every breath scraped through him like flame, and he kept dragging in the Alpha pheromones in the air as he could drink them.
Not enough.
Still not enough.
The back of his neck hurt so badly it felt like needles were driving into him by the hundreds.
His gaze lost focus. He stared at the ceiling while Omega instinct took over his limbs. He sat up, slid off the bed, and stepped onto the floor.
Then he moved toward Orion.
Slowly.
Like he had been put under a spell.
“Julian, stop. Do not come closer.”
Through the thick fog in his head, Julian heard Orion’s voice.
It did not sound gentle this time.
It was low, sharp, almost harsh.
“Awoo-”
The wolf cub rushed to Julian’s feet. It pressed its fluffy body against him, nudging and blocking, trying to stop the Omega from moving forward.
It failed.
Or maybe, deep down, it had never truly wanted to succeed.

Chapter 201 The Risk No One Could Avoid
A spirit form reflected its owner’s deepest instincts.
The self beneath restraint.
The truth the owner could not fully bury.
Julian finally reached Orion.
“Orion… you smell so good.”
The little Omega’s nose twitched.
He wanted to be closer.
Closer to the sweet-smelling Orion.
So he straddled Orion’s lap and pressed himself against the Alpha’s firm thighs.
He wrapped his arms around Orion’s neck and rubbed into the hollow of his throat like a cat seeking warmth.
Then, bold beyond reason, he leaned toward Orion’s gland and inhaled hard, the way he liked to bury his face in Ruin’s soft belly.
His warm breath fell against the Alpha’s most sensitive spot.
The next second, the ceiling spun.
Orion had flipped him onto the couch and pinned him there.
“Julian, I’m sorry.”
Julian was still wondering why the nice-smelling Orion was apologizing.
Then Orion lowered his head and kissed him.
His lips were cool from repeated inhibitor injections, landing against Julian’s fever-parted mouth.
Julian: “!”
Oh no.
A creep.
“Dr. Quill! Dr. Quill, wake up! The monitor is alarming. The general’s Alpha pheromones are starting to spike too!”
The head nurse shook Dr. Quill out of sleep.
