Chapter 241 Still Slander
After Atlas Ashford said that, Orion laughed.
The old generals around him laughed too.
As for whether the old marshal was right, that depended on who was listening.
Finished
Because after they had all finished teasing Orion, Julian Shaw, who had been quietly listening from the side for quite a while, said with absolute seriousness, “Still slander.”
Atlas: “?”
He was about to say this little Omega had been blinded by a handsome face.
Then Julian gave his proof.
“Prince Harold is a Mulholland too, and he is very dumb.”
Atlas: “…”
All right.
He had no rebuttal.
Orion ended the call and closed the door.
Recently, Julian had developed a habit of roaming through Moonfall’s various buildings to inspect his territory. He moved around like a small lion marking its land, determined to map every corner for himself.
Orion had let him.
Only one thing about it bothered Orion.
“What’s wrong?”
The lock had barely clicked when Orion caught Julian’s wrist and drew him back.
Julian’s back touched the cool door.
One of Orion’s hands braced beside his ear. The other still held Julian’s wrist, pressing it against the door with a force that was gentle, but impossible to ignore.
Warm breath brushed the side of Julian’s neck, then moved past his ear, leaving a faint ticklish heat behind.
Julian had just thought about slipping free when Orion’s knee pressed between his legs and blocked every route of escape.
“Mm…”
A warm touch landed on the gland at the back of his neck.
Orion was scenting him.

A clean lotus fragrance drifted out, pale and fresh. Orion rubbed the tip of his nose against the Omega’s sensitive gland, imitating the way Julian liked to nuzzle him.
And Julian, who had no sense of danger at all, even tilted his head aside and exposed the gland more obediently.
Then he asked with great seriousness, “Orion, do I smell good too?”
Orion: “…”
Julian waited. When Orion did not answer, he sniffed at himself.
Then he leaned into Orion, hooked both arms around the Alpha’s neck with practiced ease, and sniffed him
too.
“Mm. I still think you smell better.”
“Do you?”
Orion truly had no defense against him.
He simply circled Julian’s waist and pulled the Omega fully into his arms.
“Julian, can you avoid places crowded with Alphas for a few days?”
Julian: “?”
Knowing this little idiot had probably learned nothing useful in physiology class, Orion explained softly, “My rut is close. Lately, I keep catching other Alphas‘ scents on you. My possessiveness is getting worse. I want to hide you away.”
Julian: “?”
He sniffed himself again with a solemn expression.
Nothing.
He remembered someone had once said Alphas all had dog noses. Orion was a wolf, yes, but people called them dog Alphas for a reason.
“What should we do?”
Julian asked humbly.
“Will Julian listen to whatever I say?”
Orion lifted a brow.
Julian answered as if it were obvious, “Of course. You discovered the problem, so you should provide the
solution.”
“All right.”

Orion laughed softly, then asked with sudden seriousness, “Then, Julian, may I lock you up?”
His tone sounded solemn, but the words were half teasing.
Unexpectedly, Julian nodded without a pause.

“Sure. Rogue cultivators never surrender unless food, housing, materials, kisses, and bites are included/
The first four were basic conditions.
The last two were because he was sick, and sickness needed treatment. Suffering.through it alone was too awful.
This rogue cultivator was no longer willing to suffer at all.
Good.
Orion really had no way to deal with him.

So he wrapped Julian in his arms, dropped with him onto the couch, and decided to give him a small lesson in love.
No one knew how much time passed before Julian finally returned to his senses on the couch.
The good news was that Orion did not lock him up after all.
The bad news was that his lips hurt.
They seemed to be broken.
His neck hurt too. Orion had bitten him.
Fine, biting the gland was one thing.
But why bite the side of his neck too?
There were marks.
Mm.
The skin at both sides of his waist also seemed red. Orion must have held him too tightly.
Next time, Julian had to tell him to be gentler.
Meanwhile, Noah Wells had just returned to the dorm, crossed one leg over the other, and prepared to enjoy a peaceful evening.
Then a message popped up on his wrist terminal.
He opened it.
Well.
Was this not the missing person from their dorm, His Majesty Julian?

Noah: “…”
Noah: “Then hit him!”

The next day, after Julian finished tormenting Noah, Atlas and the old generals secretly returned to the capital world and met Orion’s group at Moonfall.
Old Marshal Atlas Ashford still had refined, handsome features. Years of thinking had carved deep lines between his brows.
His gray eyes were as clear as autumn water, able to look scholarly one second and turn cold the next.
Behind him stood old generals with silver hair and straight backs. Even silent, they carried the weight of
armies.
They were the Empire’s treasures.
Each had watched a century of the Empire’s rise and fall.
Each was part of the backbone that had held humanity upright until now.
“Granddad.”
Orion brought Julian forward and began introducing the old men one by one.
