Chapter 278 A Real Warning
That was clearly Yuri Blackwell trying to smooth things over.
Julian had not wanted to speak to them anyway.
So, under everyone’s gaze, he ignored Yuri entirely and turned back toward the parade.
Yuri: “?”
“Julian…”
Julian looked back.
Confused.
Annoyed.
“I only had two more sentences left for you people. Didn’t you tell me to say a little less?”
Yuri: “…”
He had meant speak less.
Not stop speaking entirely and pretend Yuri did not exist.
Not only Yuri. The other Omegas were nearly broken by Julian’s logic too.
Elias Whitmore chose that exact moment to speak.
“Please don’t be angry, everyone. Julian has always been like this. He is a little strange, but he is actually very kind…”
Before Elias could finish, a hairpin cut through the air beside his ear.
It passed so close that it almost grazed his pale, delicate cheek.
The Omegas around him cried out in fright.
Their voices instantly drew the attention of the four Omega advisors.
Among them, Professor Cedric Wren, the first-year advisor, stood up at once.
Because he stood, he saw the hairpin circle Elias once before gliding back into Julian’s hand.
As if Julian was afraid no one would know he had done it, he even spun the hairpin once between his fingers before sliding it back into Noah’s hair.
Obviously, the hairpin had come from Noah.
Julian had plucked it out the instant Elias opened his mouth.
He had been so fast that even Noah himself had not noticed.

Chapter 278 A Real Wathing
“Julian Shaw, do you understand what you just did?”
Professor Wren strode over.
As an Omega instructor who had followed the midterm assessment and seen Julian remain calm under the Seventh Legion’s pressure, he knew this student was not easy to handle.
But difficult or not, no one was allowed to threaten an Omega.
Facing his stern question, Julian was unexpectedly honest.
“Yes. I was warning him.”
Professor Wren’s anger surged.
Julian continued before he could speak.
“I hate him. I hate him very much. If he dares mention me again, the next hairpin will go into his flesh and crack his bone. The poison on it will rot his face so badly it can never be repaired.”
His tone was calm.
His expression was solemn.
He did not sound like he was making a joke.
The moment the Omegas heard that a face could rot, they instinctively covered their own faces.
On any other day, fine.
But what day was this?
Seeing Elias bite his lip and lower his head, clearly accepting the reprimand, Professor Wren finally returned to his seat.
The Omegas who did not know the full story were both frightened and indignant on Elias’s behalf.
While comforting Elias, they said that once their turn came, they would perform with everything they had and crush Julian’s so-called sword-riding formation into dust.
Class F was angry, but no one spoke.
Not because they were weak.
Because they themselves had no idea what this “sword-riding” was supposed to look like.
King Julian had only made them practice hand gestures and standing on floating swords.
He had never explained the rest.
They knew nothing.
How could they not feel poor, weak, and completely lacking in confidence?
If everyone else merely lacked confidence, Noah, whose hairpin had just returned to his hair, was trembling for a different reason.
“King Julian, does the poison on this thing have an antidote? It would be such a waste if my handsome, dashing face rotted away…”
When Julian said a rotten face could not be healed, Noah truly believed it.
Then Julian said, “Relax. It will not rot. An Omega’s face is thin. Your face is thick, Noah. This dosage is not enough for you.”

Noah: “…”
He should have felt relieved.
So why did he feel even more miserable?
