Outcast Omega Pampered by the Alpha General novel Chapter 279

Chapter 279 The Elven Feast

While Class F and the Omegas quietly burned with conflict, the parade continued.

After the Alpha formations came the Beta formations.

Betas had no spirit forms..

So their displays were equipment formations.

Mecha formations.

Battleship formations.

Logistics supply drills.

There were even specialized medical formations.

Once the Beta formations ended, the invited military academies began sending in their own parade groups.

But neither the Omegas, who had now been provoked into full fighting spirit, nor Class F, whose future remained a mystery even to themselves, had any attention left for the rest of the show.

The parade was nearing its end.

It was almost time for the artistic formations.

The Omegas and Class F left their seats and entered the temporary waiting area outside the Abyssal Dome Arena. Then, in order, they began removing their morph devices.

By the time the Omegas finished preparing, the parade inside had officially ended.

Orion and the others stood to salute every cadet who had participated.

Then the artistic formations were announced.

In an instant, the lights went out.

The vast arena vanished into darkness.

When light returned, it had become an ancient forest.

Still.

Mysterious.

Fragrant.

Enormous crystal trees rooted themselves in the earth, their roots glowing with soft green light. That glow became the only light source beneath the canopy.

Pollen drifted through the air like stardust.

Flowers of every color hung from the branches, blooming and swaying gently.

Delicate.

Sweet.

Then bright, lilting music sounded through the forest.

One elf after another stepped lightly onto the ground in full costume, entering between the flowers.

Under countless eyes, they began to dance.

As their steps changed, the formation split into three streams, each moving slowly along a different forest path.

There were fewer Omegas in the third and fourth years, so they had been combined into one group/

They wore white gowns and formal robes. Gauze veiled their heads.

Their toes seemed to barely touch the ground.

Their movements were light and ghostlike.

A silent group dance.

Mysterious.

Holy.

Beautiful in a way that felt almost mournful.

The second-year Omegas offered something entirely different.

They were passionate and bold.

Male and female Omegas paired off. Each forward leap, each airborne split, became a flash of flying skirts and blooming flowers.

The first-year Omegas had the largest group.

So they abandoned group dance entirely.

Instead, they turned the scene into a fresh, gorgeous fashion walk: elves arriving at a feast.

At this moment, spirit forms were no longer tools for healing Alphas.

They became the most dazzling ornaments on the Omegas.

In their hair.

“Our Eli really did well. The last time we saw this kind of spectacle was probably back in Helen and Orion’s year, wasn’t it?”

In the VIP section, Sebastian Whitmore nodded in satisfaction.

He was not the only one.

The old patriarch seated before him and his elder brother Victor Whitmore both looked pleased.

Because Elias’s appearance had been so dazzling, the colleagues around them had all started offering congratulations.

Even Finance Minister Ölyan, Lord Helen, and Crown Prince Harold Mulholland looked over with friendliness.

They were family, after all.

The better Elias performed, the easier it was for them to become one harmonious, tightly connected family

Only Sylvia Whitmore stayed silent from beginning to end.

At some point, she had changed.

She used to love Eli so deeply.

But now, more and more often, she remembered her eldest son’s accusations.

She remembered Julian’s cold back when the star police had taken her away.

She was caught between not wanting to break the cage and already seeing cracks in it.

She could not stop herself from looking closer.

From asking questions.

From struggling for breath.

Again and again, she opened that app.

Again and again, she questioned the waitress.

Again and again, she woke from nightmares.

How much longer…

She already felt as if she were suffocating.

And while Sylvia could barely breathe, Caelan Rookwood sat with Tristan Whitmore and accepted congratulations from the students around them.
