Outcast Omega Pampered by the Alpha General novel Chapter 43

Chapter 43 The Black Part Was the Lock

Everyone wanted an explanation.

What exactly was wrong with Julian’s energy block?

R did not make them wait

“The energy liquid was refined to an excessive level of purity. Its compression density is fifty percent higher than Landon Reed’s block. He also appears to have used a locking structure to prevent energy from leaking during operation.”

Then came a long chain of theory.

Some students understood.

Some students looked like their souls had left their bodies.

So the focus finally returned to Julian himself.

Julian did not hide anything.

“I used the black energy liquid.”

The whole room stared at him.

Julian continued, “The red part and black part of Ember Ferrite are one structure. The red part carries higher energy. The black part carries lower energy. But what if the black part isn’t waste? What if it’s the lock that protects the stone and seals the energy inside?”

The top students of the Imperial Military Academy understood almost immediately.

The black veins spread across Ember Ferrite like a web.

They were not the inferior part of the ore.

They were the protective layer.

If the red and black portions were extracted together, the black part became mixed into the red energy. That could cause leakage or blockage because the structure had been torn apart.

If the black part was discarded completely, the red energy did become purer and denser.

But it lost its lock.

Pure energy leaked fast.

That method was stronger than mixed extraction, but only by so much.

Julian’s approach was different.

He extracted the red portion alone first.

Then he used the black portion to wrap it again at the end.

That meant the energy’s internal structure stayed complete

It barely leaked.

It became more compressed.

Even the quantum cannon output rose sharply.

“Right. That’s it.”

Julian nodded, looking as if everyone had done a good job understanding.

After that explanation, most of the Mecha Engineering students looked at him with genuine admiration.

Even Landon Reed, who had previously believed Julian belonged far beneath him, suddenly felt he must have lost his mind to provoke Julian earlier.

This was not a gap.

This was a canyon.

As for Barnes, he was already wondering whether he still had time to beg Julian into Class A.

Or beg Anne to swap classes back.

R had left.

More accurately, MeowWow had left.

At some point, the tabby Maine Coon had slipped out of the classroom. When it reappeared, it was already in the video on the whiteboard.

R was urging Anne to remove Julian’s energy block from the mecha.

Anne did.

The Maine Coon grabbed the block in its mouth and ran.

It did not even look back.

Even “class dismissed” was left for Anne to say.

“Are we dreaming? Or did the other classes mock us for so long that we finally snapped?”

The students of Class F drifted out of the classroom in a daze.

The envious looks around them felt too unreal.

Most of Class F came from fringe worlds. Noah’s family was already one of the better-off ones among them. Many others had to take work-study jobs just to stay enrolled, and they had no money for private

practice.

Their grades sat at the bottom,

They could not enter strong assessment teams.

Sometimes, when they had questions, they did not even know whom to ask.

And now?

Their class had produced an academic monster.

Noah and the others began smacking each other back and forth, determined to prove they were not dreaming.

Julian watched them and decided this world was beyond repair.

Teachers.

Students.

All of them.

Hopeless.

The only good news was that Dr. R seemed eager to study his energy block and had dismissed class early.

Since it was not mealtime yet, the Betas lingered by the roadside.

Julian wanted to return to the dorm and spray his “cologne.”

Noah and the others refused to let him go.
