I felt the mattress shift, waking me up, and then his arm wrapped

around my waist, pulling me against his firm body.

He was back.

His face buried into my neck as I felt something hard press against

Ethan sighed in frustration as I got up, reaching for the phone. But as

soon as I grabbed it, the call ended.

The missed call notification was from Will, and below it, there were

several new text messages from him.

I unlocked the screen and opened the messages hurriedly, almost

certain of what it was about. It was written in all caps:

“BABY ON THE WAY!!!!! HEADING TO THE HOSPITAL NOW!”

Oh my God! My suspicions were right. I immediately jumped out of

bed.

“Anna’s having the baby!” I shouted, running to turn on the light.

“Now?” he asked, still sitting on the bed.

“Yes! We have to go!” I urged him, running to my closet.

“Unbelievable, we’re not even the parents and this kid’s already

ruined our sex,” he grumbled, making me laugh as I grabbed the first

clothes I could find.

seen. His hair was so dark it was impressive for a newborn, and his

skin was as fair as Anna’s.

She was so happy that you would never guess she had been screaming
