Please Me Daddy (Gracie) novel Chapter 96

**TITLE: Across Distant Skies Lies Hope Waiting To Be Found by Kade Rowan Flint 96**

I love you so much,
Grace

The moment I crossed the threshold of my own home, I barely had time to catch my breath. Liana and Lucas, in a whirlwind of energy, came racing toward me like a couple of exuberant puppies, their small bodies colliding with mine and sending me tumbling down onto the floor. A groan escaped my lips as I hit the ground, the weight of their excitement pressing against my chest, making it hard to draw in a full breath.

“Oh my God,” I mumbled, staring up at the ceiling, feeling utterly defeated by their enthusiasm.

Two pairs of sparkling eyes blinked down at me, Liana practically radiating joy, her face lit up with an infectious excitement. Just then, Eleanor plopped down next to me on the floor, her legs swinging back and forth like a pendulum as she leaned in, a mischievous glint dancing in her eyes.

Oh no, not this again.

Liana leaned in closer, her little nose almost brushing against mine. “Who is he, Auntie?” she asked, her voice a mixture of curiosity and eagerness.

Lucas nodded vigorously beside her. “Yeah, who is he?” His tone was filled with the kind of excitement only children can muster.

Eleanor, unable to resist the chance to join in, grinned widely. “Mm-hm. Out with it! Who is that attractive man who dropped you off?”

I shut my eyes for a brief moment, trying to gather my thoughts. “Kids, I’m not as spry as I used to be. Jumping on me like that is going to leave my back in knots,” I replied, half-joking, half-serious.

That seemed to catch their attention. They quickly scrambled off me, both of them muttering an unison, “Sorry, Aunt.”

I slowly pushed myself up, rubbing my aching back, and shot Eleanor a disapproving look. “And you—can I at least step inside before you start your interrogation?”

Her grin only widened, a cheeky sparkle in her eye. “Can you blame me? I saw you with a really hot guy. Of course I’m curious!”

With a weary shake of my head, I finally managed to drag myself to my feet. As I did, I noticed Wyatt standing nearby, his calm demeanor radiating a sense of tranquility. “How was work?” he asked, his voice steady and warm.

I smiled back at him, grateful for his presence. “It was okay, thank you, Wyatt.”

Before I could take a breath, Eleanor cut in, her voice teasing. “Enough of this unnecessary politeness! Spill the beans. Who is he? And wait—” She gasped dramatically, her eyes wide with mock horror. “Don’t tell me you’re two-timing two hot men? Oh my God, Grace. I totally underestimated you!”

I blinked at her, utterly flabbergasted. “Excuse me?”

She wiggled her eyebrows suggestively. “You’ve got your mysterious boss and a hot biker. Girl, I was rooting for your boss, but honestly, either way, I support you.”

I stared at her as if she had completely lost her mind. “Of course not! That’s absurd.”

“Mm-hm. Sure,” she said, tilting her head, clearly not convinced. “Then why were you two looking at each other so intimately earlier?”

Heat rushed to my cheeks, and I could feel the embarrassment creeping up my neck. “It was an accident! And for your information, that was River. We’re just friends.”

“That hot colleague of yours? Babe, with the way he was looking at you, trust me, he doesn’t see you as just a friend,” Eleanor teased, a knowing smile playing on her lips.

I chose to ignore her. She had a knack for saying the most unnecessary things, and right now, I simply didn’t have the energy to engage in one of her playful arguments.

“Regardless,” I mumbled, “I’m pretty exhausted. I need to catch some sleep for tomorrow.”

Eleanor studied me with an intensity that made me fidget. “Just this once, I’ll let you off the hook. But I know something happened to you today.”

“Ah, you’re going to make me come, princess, choking so beautifully on my cock,” his words echoed in my mind, sending a shiver down my spine.

I licked my lips, the taste of him still lingering, a reminder of the intimacy we had shared. He had come twice in my mouth, and I hadn’t wasted a single drop. Just the thought of it made my breath quicken, desire curling low in my belly. Naked and alone, it was impossible not to replay every second of that encounter.

My hand drifted down my chest, fingers teasing over my breasts, pinching a hardened nipple until a soft moan escaped my lips. My other hand slid lower, edging toward where I ached for release, only for the shrill ring of my phone to shatter the moment like glass.

I froze, a mix of frustration and annoyance washing over me. For a fleeting second, I considered ignoring it, but something deep inside urged me to answer. What if it was important?

With an exasperated groan, I stood, water cascading down my skin, and grabbed a robe, wrapping it tightly around myself before padding back into my room. I picked up the phone from the counter, glancing at the screen.

An unknown number.

I didn’t think much of it. My thumb swiped across the screen, and I lifted it to my ear.

“Hello? Who is this?”

At first, all I heard was muffled breathing, sending a frown deepening across my face.

“Who is this?” I repeated, my voice louder this time, tinged with irritation.

A slurred voice crackled through the line, each word dripping with desperation.

“G-Grace… I know I messed up, but please, don’t leave me. I’ll be better, I swear. I love you so much.”
