“Money really changes people, huh? She’s been back with the family for a couple months already,” a third actor added.

After their whispers, the actors all greeted her in unison, “Ms. Binder!”

Hearing the whispers around him, Stephen, who had been keeping his head down, looked up–and his eyes met Victoria’s, who was standing not far away.

He froze for a moment, caught off guard by her sudden appearance.

But the surprise barely lasted a second. Stephen quickly looked away, as if he’d touched something hot.

He swallowed, then greeted her in a low voice, “Ms. Binder.”

Victoria barely reacted to Stephen’s greeting. She just replied with a casual “Mm” and stepped into the audition room, her

face calm and unreadable.

Stephen watched Victoria’s figure disappear through the door, finally tearing his gaze away–but his thoughts were a mess. and there was no way he could calm down now.

Frank saw Victoria come in and quickly stood up, waving her over “Victoria, you’re here! Come, sit here

After five actors had taken their shot, the sixth slot finally belonged to Stephen.

Stephen stepped into the audition room, his gaze sweeping over the three people present. When his eyes met Victoria’s, he ingered for just a moment.

He quickly shifted his attention, letting his gaze settle on Frank, who sat in the center.

As soon as he finished, the assistant director frowned and turned to Frank. “Frank, why would you even let Stephen

But before Frank could answer, Victoria cut in. “I agreed to let Stephen audition.”
