Queen Of Revenge And Glory (Victoria and Jackson) novel Chapter 349

It looks like a paradise, but in reality it’s just a false prosperity, shortlived like a fleeting bloom, soon farling into obscurity

When the first song was halfway through, Nathan’s eyes turned chillingly cold. He sat up straight, snatched the cigar from his mouth, and smashed it to the ground. Feeling dissatisfied, he sent the coffee table flying with a hard kick

Zachary’s phone, along with the bottles and glasses, crashed to the floor, but Victoria’s singing kept streaming from the phone, filling the room.

MMr. ClarkZachary was so rattled, he didn’t even dare to pick up his phone. Justin’s expression was just as unsightly. He knew why Nathan was pissed.

It was becauseVictoria’s song, False Prosperity, was a stunner. Not just the music, but the lyrics were a clear dig at how some rich families socalled glory is just a flash in the pan.

With all the grievances and grudges between Nathan and Victoria, was only natural for Nathan to take it personally, feeling like Victoria was straightup calling out the Clark family.

Mr. Lowe. I’m just a businessman; I don’t really know much about music. Based on your experience, do you think Victoria’s song will be a hit?Nathan asked, his lips curling into a cold smirk as he stared at Justin.

Justin was sweating bullets. “Sshould be.

Should be?Nathan pressed.

Justin swallowed nervously. Most likely; it’ll be a hit.

How does it stack up against your own artist, Curtis from Gale Entertainment?Nathan’s smile was enough to make everyone shiver.

Hearing Nathan stressing that Curtis was his artist made Justin break out in a cold sweat. His voice trembled as he stammered out, It has greater potential.

Greater potential?Nathan said coldly. Zachary, stop this track. Play the other two songs by Victoria.

Alright.Zachary quickly grabbed his phone off the floor, still slick with spilled booze, and switched to the next song, I’ll Guide You Away from Suffering.

Halfway through the second song, Nathan’s face was as dark as thunderclouds. Enough,he said coldly, his voice more chilling than the storm raging outside.

Zachary and Justin were so startled they jolted, nearly dropping to their knees to beg for mercy. Angelica, however, clenched her fists, her eyes filled with resentment.

How? How could Victoria compose songs that were so breathtakingly brilliant? On what ground? Angelica thought bitterly. She had clearly spent twentytwo years out there like some wild girl; how could she possibly be more talented?

Zachary was scared out of his wits as he asked, Mr. Clark, what do you mean by enough?

I’ve listened enough; there’s no need to listen anymore,Nathan sneered. Even someone like me, who doesn’t know music, can tell just how impressive Victoria’s songs are. Mr. Lowe, you probably understand better than anyone else what it means.

Zachary fell silent, not daring to utter a word. Nathan let out a cold, selfdeprecating laugh. After all that effort, I never expected it to end up helping Victoria succeed.

With that. Nathan walked out of the private room, and his assistant quickly followed after him Justin felt all his strength dramed Curtis’s lost, he told himself

Justin had spent three million dollars just on breach of contract fees to snatch Curtis up Zachary was feeling miserable, too.

If Victoria continues to act so arrogantly, I’ll be the next to get humiliated by her, he thought to himself.

He could picture Victoria walking him like a dog through the streets, livestreaming the whole thing for everyone to watch, Thinking of this. Zachary could only pin his last shred of hope on Nathan.

Can Mr. Clark really crush Victoria tomorrow? Zachary wondered, anxiety gnawing at him.

The comment sections for the three songs were already filling up with fresh comments.

[Holy crap! What language is False Prosperityin? It’s my first time listening to it, and it’s oddly catchy!]

[I know! It’s a song that originates from the Yialeri ethnic group.]

[The song’s melody is truly unique. Its lyrics are ethereal, as if one has accidentally wandered into a celestial realm. When combined with Victoria’s otherworldly vocal tone, the image of that fairyland as if unfolds slowly.]

[However, just as one becomes immersed in it, the latter half of the song takes a turn. The once breathtakingly beautiful fairyland suddenly vanishes. In its place is a harsh reality, misery enveloping the helpless, bringing tears to the eyes.]

[What’s most remarkable is that Victoria’s voice also shifts, from something ethereal to a compassionate, almost Bodhisattvalike tone of mercy.]

[Oh my god! After years of suffering through all those generic tracks, I had thought the music scene was dead and gone. Curtis is pretty talented, but Victoria blows him out of the water!]

[What kind of godtier song have I just heard? Is this even something humans can create? Fam, you feel me? I feel like the gods have dropped this track just for me.]

[This is absolutely legendary. My ears are living their best life right now. I never thought I’d get to enjoy something this epic!]

[Do you understand that feeling? When you’ve just listened to an amazing song and try so hard to praise it, but feel like words fall short.]

[The second song is truly epic. Its gaze falls upon every insignificant mortal being. On one side is the rich, intoxicated luxury of the wealthy; on the other is the ordinary folks muddling through, scraping by day after day.]

[The third song totally ignites the vibe! The music surges with energy and fills you with hope.]

[Honestly, any one of these three songs is a highly valuable and outstanding work. Whether in terms of musicality or cultural significance, they are all worthy of deeper understanding and appreciation.]

After sending Victoria a birthday message, Curtis immediately headed over to Redberry Music to check out her new songs.

But the system was down, so he switched to X and saw Victoria had just posted two minutes ago: [Wishing myself a happy birthday with three new original songs I’ve written.]

Curtis scrolled through the comments for the post; some were supportive, some were downright nasty. Most of the nasty ones were coming from his fans, who had bashed her.

Curtis felt a pang of guilt, but there was nothing he could do. Only if he reached the top would he be worthy of asking

Victoria for forgiveness. Otherwise, anything he said now would carry no weight with her.

After keeping an eye on the comments for a long time, Curtis finally spotted one saying Redberry Music had resumed. Without hesitation. he jumped over to Redberry Music to listen to Victoria’s songs right away.

After listening to the first track, Curtis honestly couldn’t even tell what he was feeling. Stunned? he wondered Panicked, or maybe in despair? Maybe all of them

Curtis realized the last shot he thought he had at getting Victoria to forgive him had vanished. I don’t even have a chance anymore, he thought, feeling utterly defeated.

After saying goodnight to Jackson, before going to bed, Victoria hopped into the [E.C.E. Saga] group chat and tagged Good- for Nothing Heir.

[Hey, you little punk, have you listened to Queen Victoria’s songs yet? Is your face swollen? Just a friendly reminder, three days left, if Brightstar Entertainment doesn’t go bankrupt by then, our bet’s up, and you’re next on my hit list.J

Gloated Annie: [Victoria, my leash is already itching to be used.]

Zachary didn’t reply. Victoria kept going, tagging GoodforNothing Heir again: [Tell your boss; once I’m done dealing with you flunkies, he’s up next. Tell him to brace himself, because I’m coming for his neck.]

Everyone else lurking in the group chat was stunned when they saw Victoria’s message, practically gasping in disbelief. Right then, they realized Victoria was serious. She was dead set on bringing down the Clark family for real.
